Let's go out tonight
Let's go out tonight
Beautiful boys and beautiful girls
Get in the car and let's see the world
Beautiful boys and beautiful girls
Get in the car and let's see the world
Miroir miroir on the wall
Who's the fairest of them all
Miroir miroir on the wall
Who's the fairest of them all
Miroir miroir on the wall
Who's the fairest of them all
Miroir miroir on the wall
Who's the fairest of them all
It's us, it's us, it's us, it's us, it's us, it's us
It's us, it's us, it's us, it's us, it's us, it's us
They look into the mirror
They don't know what to wear
They look into the mirror
They don't know what to wear
Miroir miroir on the wall

Show me your dreams and i'll show you my sweat
Show me your heart and i'll show you my blood
I work so hard
And for what

And for what

Who's the fairest of them all
The song "Miroir Mirroir" by Desire is a call to action to go out and explore the world with beautiful boys and girls. The song begins with a plea to leave the house and experience the world with others who are beautiful, regardless of gender. The chorus, "Miroir miroir on the wall, who's the fairest of them all," is a reference to the classic fairytale, Snow White, which highlights the idea of beauty being subjective and competitive.
The second verse takes a more introspective turn, highlighting the insecurity that comes with trying to decide what to wear and how to look when going out into the world. The repeated refrain of "It's us, it's us," suggests that despite these insecurities, the singer believes in their own beauty and that of their friends.
The final verse takes a more somber tone, addressing the hard work and effort that goes into achieving success in life. The repetition of "Let's go out tonight" serves as a reminder to not be bogged down by hard work and to take a break and enjoy life with beautiful people.
Overall, "Miroir Mirroir" is a catchy song that celebrates youth, beauty, and the desire to experience the world with others who share these qualities.
