"Voyage Voyage", a song sung exclusively in French, managed the rare feat of featuring in several countries top hits which are usually closed to francophone songs and artists. In Germany, the song topped the chart and has the longest chart trajectory of 1987 in the Top 20. Curiously, the song failed to reach #1 in France, but stayed at #2 for four weeks, behind Elsa Lunghini with her first hit "T'en vas pas", and remained on the chart for 21 weeks, from 13 December 1986 to 9 May 1987. Also managed to be the biggest selling single in Spain in 1987 with more than 200,000 copies sold.

The lyrics of Desireless's song "Voyage Voyage" are about the idea of traveling and exploring, both physically and emotionally. The song begins with an image of "wings gliding over old volcanoes" and continues to describe various geographic locations like "Spain's wind, Ecuador's rain, and the Sahara's dunes." The repeated phrase "voyage, voyage" serves as an encouraging call to see the world and keep moving, with no reason to ever stop.
As the song progresses, it becomes clear that the "voyage" is not just a physical journey, but also a metaphor for exploring the depths of love and emotion. The lyrics mention "the unheard-of space of love," adding a mystical, otherworldly element to the already ethereal imagery. The visuals of the "sacred water of an Indian river" and "blacks, sikhs, and jaunes" reflect the song's message of unity, and that the "voyage" is for everyone to enjoy.
The song ends with the repetition of the phrase "voyage, voyage," emphasizing the idea that the journey is never-ending, and that there's always more to discover, explore and feel.

Above the ancient volcanoes
Slide your wings under the carpet of the wind
Travel, travel, eternally
Of clouds in swamps
Of wind in Spain in the rain from Ecuador
Travel, travel, fly to the highest heights
Above the capitals, fatal ideas
Look at the ocean
Travel, travel, further than the night and the day
Travel, in spaces unheard of by love
Travel, travel, on the sacred waters of an Indian river
Travel, and never come back
On the Ganges or the Amazon
With people of all races
Travel, travel, throughout the land
On the dunes of the Sahara
From Fiji to Fujiyama
Travel, travel, don't you stop
Above Barbal, with hearts bombarded
Look at the ocean
Travel, travel, further than the night and the day
Travel, in spaces unheard of by love
Travel, travel, on the sacred waters of an Indian river
Travel, and never come back
Above the capitals, the fatal ideas
Look at the ocean
Travel, travel, further than the night and the day
Travel, in spaces unheard of by love
Travel, travel, on the sacred waters of an Indian river
Travel, travel
