The five youngsters joined forces in 2006 and released the A Dozen Dreams EP. After this, a time of intensive touring followed: in the first year 70 shows were played in the Netherlands, England, Wales, Germany, France and Belgium. Also, the band was the support act for bands like New Found Glory and Fall Out Boy. The large amount of shows rapidly resulted in a steady fanbase.
Destine have launched its own online TV-platform Destine.tv where people can follow the band’s every move. Meanwhile, the band appeared on national TV and radio, including the song Last Scene Of A Plane Crash being used for a commercial on TV station Comedy Central.
In April 2008, Destine signed a development deal with major label Sony. The debut album and single are planned to be released in 2009.

Four Leaf Clover
Destine Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
I′m holding on to the things that I wish that I could be
But I'm tired of running, standing still
Oh if I could learn to close my eyes maybe this could be real
I need a little bit of luck tonight before I burn out
Or take a minute when it all comes down and hear my heart die out
Just a little bit too much tonight before our time is through
Ever stronger than before, feel it weakening my knees
And I run, I′m longing for all the things that I can? t reach
As I find what isn't there, oh unclarity it makes me blind
I wish I'd read between the lines
I need a little bit of luck tonight before I burn out
Or take a minute when it all comes down and hear my heart die out
Just a little bit too much tonight before our time is through
I need a little bit of luck tonight from you
Uncertainty, or is it me
All I can see, oh it′s a masterpiece
Anxiety, it′s weakening me
All that I see, oh it's a masterpiece
(I see you in my marrow)
I need a little bit of luck tonight before I burn out
Or take a minute when it all comes down and hear my heart die out
Just a little bit too much tonight before our time is through
I need a little bit of luck tonight from you
Uncertainty, or is it me
All I can see, oh it′s a masterpiece
Anxiety, it's weakening me
All that I see, oh it′s a masterpiece
(I see you in my marrow)
In "Four Leaf Clover" by Destine, the singer is struggling with feeling like they aren't living up to their own expectations. They want to be someone great and accomplished, but instead they feel stuck and uncertain. As they search for a way out of this feeling, they realize that they need a little bit of luck to help them before they burn out or collapse under the pressure. The song ends with a plea for help to someone who might be able to provide this much-needed support.
The lyrics of "Four Leaf Clover" are quite poignant and relatable, as they touch on the universal struggle of finding one's purpose and figuring out how to achieve one's goals. The upbeat tempo of the song creates a sense of urgency and excitement, which underscores the sense of desperation in the lyrics. The repeated refrain of "I need a little bit of luck tonight" is particularly effective in conveying the sense of helplessness that the singer is feeling, as they recognize that there are some things they simply cannot control.
Overall, the song encapsulates the feeling of being lost in one's own desires and expectations, and the struggle to find a way out of that feeling. The singer's quest for luck is ultimately a search for meaning and purpose, and the song resonates with anyone who has ever felt unsure of their path in life or doubted their ability to achieve their dreams.

Here it comes, sinking in, building up inside of me
I can feel something overwhelming taking over me

I'm desperately trying to achieve what I desire
But I'm tired of running, standing still
I'm exhausted from trying and not getting anywhere
Oh if I could learn to close my eyes maybe this could be real
If only I could ignore the truth and believe in a lie
I need a little bit of luck tonight before I burn out
I require a stroke of fortune to avoid complete exhaustion
Or take a minute when it all comes down and hear my heart die out
Or I may just pause when everything falls apart and let my heart break

Just a bit more than we can handle before this is all over
I need a little bit of luck tonight from you
I require a stroke of fortune from someone, anyone
