In 2010 DiM's debut album 'Secrets' was released. It was distributed worldwide under the well-known international label Metalblade Records. This album placed the band up in the highest position of the genre, receiving many awards, nominations and great reviews from the specialized medias.
Despite it being the first studio work for DiM, the production of 'Secrets' had a prestigious technical team, made up of greatest professionals such as Sascha Paeth or Ad Sluijter (ex Epica). Also, members of the London Philharmonic Orchestra, RTVE Orchestra, Spanish National Choir and the Ensemble 'Nova Lux', collaborated in the recording of 'Secrets'.
DiM has just recorded their second album, entitled 'The Wanderer', which is foreseen to be released in early 2012 under Napalm Records. It is a conceptual album, direct and really promising, where DiM is working again with great and well-known professionals such as Jacob Hansen, Stefan Heilemann or John Kelly & Maite Itoiz among others.
DiM has played many gigs so far. They have supported Manowar in their Spanish tour and Theatre of Tragedy in their farewell tour in Mexico. The band has also shared stage with bands like Arch Enemy, Cradle of Filth, Doro, Therion, Kreator, Rage, Saxon, Epica, Sabaton and many more.
After the great success achieved at the Metal Female Voices Fest (MFVF 8, Belgium) last year, DiM was booked to play again at the MFVF 9, this time as co-headliners. In that occasion, the band had the opportunity to release their very first videoclip and single 'Sceneries of Hope' (The Wanderer), in front of more than 4000 people. The video was also included in the official Metal Female Voices Fest DVD.
It is worth highlighting the welcome that DiM received among their fans. Only a year after the release of Secrets, four fanclubs have been created: ‘Secret Club’ (Costa Rica), ‘The Seventh Gate’ (Mexico), ‘Diabulus in Reinaissance’ (Southamerica) and ‘Los Secretos del Diablo’ (Spain).
Sceneries of Hope
Diabulus In Musica Lyrics

Faded stars are showing me
All the tracks i should follow
In the couldness of this night
It feels so warm
It feels so calm
I feel i'm out of danger
No more inflicted wounds
All in my hands
Freedom flows through my veins
Hope it won't fate
Light my path again
No more looks of disdain
To reach this time my new lair
Now i'm far from compassion
Through the distance my sight
Crosses the barriers of time
My eyes keep gazing the sky
They can recall the shore
But forgot lands on the other side
There's no need to hide again
Neath your cloak of green i am safe (fear's going away)
There's no need to be ashamed
There is no need to be afraid
I can myself
Ubi bene, ibi patria
All in my hands
Freedom flows through my veins
Hope it won't fade
Never again
Life in my hands
Now there's no one to blame
The beams of fate
Light my path again
The lyrics of Diabulus In Musica's song 'Sceneries of Hope' speak of a journey from darkness to freedom, from fear to courage. The opening lines, "Through the darkness I can see / Faded stars are showing me / All the tracks I should follow," suggest that the singer is lost and seeking guidance. The darkness is a metaphor for a difficult time in their life, and the stars represent the hope that they can find a way out. As they continue through the night, they find comfort in the warmth and calmness they feel, and they begin to believe that they are out of danger. They reflect on the wounds they have suffered in the past and hope that this new dawn will be a refuge for them.
As the song progresses, the singer becomes more confident and self-assured. They take control of their own destiny, declaring that freedom flows through their veins and that they alone hold the power to determine their future. They no longer fear the judgment of others, and they find safety in the natural world around them: "Neath your cloak of green I am safe (fear's going away)." The final lines of the song suggest that the singer has found a sense of belonging, a place where they can truly be themselves: "Ubi bene, ibi patria," which translates to "Where there is well-being, there is my homeland."
Overall, 'Sceneries of Hope' is a powerful song about overcoming adversity and finding the strength to chart your own course. It encourages listeners to believe in themselves and to have faith that they can find their way out of darkness and into the light.
