It was composed by Alexandra, Angélique, Pookie, Marie-Laure and Ophélie.
The male band (Linkup)win this edition but Diadems was offered to record one album and one single.
Their first single, Encore was realised in the beginning of 2004 and received some good sucess, charted at n°4.
When the Diadems' album was realised a few weeks later, it was expected to receive the same success than the Linkup one.
But the girls' album totally floped despite the fact that this opus was quite promoted on french channels. It didn't even entered the french Top100...
A second single, Celle que je suis was sent to french medias and received good appreciations, better than Encore.
However, the french buyers prefered Linkup and this second single was not a major success, charted in the the french Top60.
As a result, Diadems disbanded.
Nowadays, Ophélie is known as Ophélie Cassy and recorded her first solo album after having realised a successful single with Paolo Meneguzzi
No one of the others members has a project at time of writting.
Les Garçons Dans Les Magazines
Diadems Lyrics

Aux ciseaux je les déshabille
Ils sont tendres et faciles
Je les sélectionne au feeling
Une petite voix
Me dit "Arrête!
Na na na na na, na na na na na na na
Les garçons dans les magazines
Na na na na na, na na na na na na na
Oh j'aime! Les mater tranquille
C'est juste de la photographie
Tous ces admirateurs qui me trouvent si jolie
Qui me savourent sans économie
Et je lis dans leurs yeux ce qu'ils ne m'ont pas dit
Une petite voix
Me dit "Arrête!
Na na na na na, na na na na na na na
Les garçons dans les magazines
Na na na na na, na na na na na na na
Oh j'aime! Les mater tranquille

In Diadems's song Les garçons dans les magazines, the singer expresses her love for the handsome boys that are featured in magazines. She confesses that she cuts them out and places them everywhere around her house, from the bedroom to the kitchen. She finds comfort in their tenderness and ease, and she selects them based on her feelings. Even though she recognizes that the situation is not ideal, she persists in picking out the perfect guy for herself, stating that at least she has men.
Throughout the song, the singer confronts a small voice in her head that questions her infatuation with the boys in magazines, but she ignores it and follows her own desires. The singer emphasizes that her obsession is just derived from the photoshoots and that it is not real, and she is satisfied with just admiring them from a distance.
Overall, Les garçons dans les magazines is a song that showcases how media and objectification have negatively impacted society's expectations of love and relationships. It portrays how someone can develop an undeniable attachment to something that is not even real, but they still find security and comfort in it.
