Diane wrote, composed and produced songs in collaboration with famous artists like Bela B., Thomas D., Yvonne Catterfeld, Juli, Jess (No Angels), Ferdinand Van Haren and Vanessa Maurischat.
Collaborating with Michael Beckmann (Rainbirds) she produced several movie and promotion productions.
In 2002, she found her own publishing edition "Rotschopf", in 2003 she worked for "Hot Action Records", the record company of Die Ärzte.
In the summer of 2004, Diane started recording her first solo album in German with her drummer, Dog Keßler.
"Diane – das Album" was released in 2005.
The Album as well as the first single "Das Beste" were in the German charts for several weeks.
In the same year, she was nominated "best female pop national" at the German Radio Awards.
In the summer of 2006, her second solo album "Im Zweifelsfall" was produced in collaboration with Patrik Majer.

The lyrics of Diane Weigmann's song Kein Wort talk about a person who is constantly on the move and has nobody waiting for them or looking for them in the night. Although they will eventually be missed, nobody has asked about them. The person is always searching for something, but never seems to find it, so they have made friends with the night. The darkness is where they feel most comfortable and where the colors are perfect. They manage to navigate through the night and survive another day without saying a word. They have become forgotten, as if they never existed. However, one night, they have a dream that someone is waiting and looking for them. They don't want to wake up and face the reality that they have been forgotten by the world.
