The Four Riders of the Apocalypse is an entirely instrumental work recorded in 1977. It shows some similarities to Camel, Focus and King Crimson. In 1978 they recorded a self-titled album which featured vocals. A live album was recorded in 1979.

I will always admire her promotion team. I remember this song being a literal ad and me being so pissed off I wanted to click off when it first came out. Anytime a song is an ad I’m already like wtf, but I truly do think her promotion team is phenomenal. Her music wasn’t always out of the ordinary but what caught me off guard was her smooth alto voice. You don’t hear many of those any more. She’s not a breathy singer, at all, and it’s sooooo refreshing. She’s not a jazz singer either so their aren’t many riffs which I think fits her so well. She has so much body to her voice without being over the top or bouncy, and I’m not saying those aren’t beautiful, her voice is just different. But fr I don’t know who her promotion team is or the amount of money that went behind it but Jesus Christ, I will be damned if I say they never had her back. They put sooo much trust into her and I think it payed off very well!!
