Didi Kempot merupakan penyanyi campursari kebanggaan kota Solo, di samping Gesang (maestro keroncong).
Saat ini Didi Kempot tinggal di daerah Sumber, Solo.
Didi Kempot meninggal dunia pada 5 Mei 2020 pukul 07.45 WIB dalam usia 53 tahun di Rumah Sakit Kasih Ibu Surakarta akibat henti jantung. Ia sempat mengalami sakit panas pada hari sebelumnya. Jenazah Didi Kempot dimakamkan pada hari itu juga pada pukul 15.00 WIB di Tempat Pemakaman Umum Desa Majasem, Kecamatan Kendal, Ngawi, Jawa Timur – berdekatan dengan makam anak sulungnya.
