Die Form's songs are erotic and death-obsessed. They have been able to impose years after years a music and an image of the most completed, in the practice of the "multimedia intervention" (music, performance, photography and cinema/video).
Since 1978, besides multiple participations in international projects, about thirty albums, many video clips & films and two art books allow to appreciate their particular universe : industrial and organic electronic, tortured neo-classic and experimental constructions to more accessible compositions (based on rhythms, cuts, sampling, treated voices and sequences). Always motivated by passions, Philippe F. and Eliane P. exhibit the ultimate beauty of love, at the boundary of the interdicts.
"Out-standard constructions where is added a mechanical dimension to the sensuality of the female voices and melodies."
Chaos Theory
Die Form Lyrics

Cage you, soldier,
Overhelmed to die...
Only why (the) machine lie:
Other lives
Sacrified to time.
Come to die, on a sign,
The lyrics of Die Form's song "Chaos Theory" are a reflection on the senseless deaths that occur in war. The opening lines urge the listener to open their eyes and take notice of the tragedy that surrounds them. The next line, "Cage you, soldier," is a brutal reminder of the many young men and women sent to fight, only to be confined and controlled by their superiors. The following line, "Overwhelmed to die," is a stark contrast to the previous one, as it tells the truth of what awaits all soldiers on the battlefield.
The next two lines, "Only why (the) machine lie, other lives, sacrificed to time," go deeper into the issue of war. The "machine" in question could refer to the military-industrial complex that profits off of war, or the government that sends young people to fight without much thought for their lives. Either way, it is clear that those in power are not being honest about their intentions, and that countless lives are wasted as a result.
The final lines of the song, "Come to die, on a sign, come to die, on the soil," are a haunting reminder that war leads to death and destruction everywhere it goes, and that soldiers are often unable to escape its grasp.
