Die Schröders' song "Super" is a satirical commentary on modern consumerist culture, where material possessions and superficial ideals are lauded above all else. The lyrics are a sarcastic thank you note to the products and luxuries that society has come to prioritize at the expense of true happiness and fulfillment. The first verse mentions a "blütenweiße Weste" (pristine reputation), "von allem nur das Beste" (only the best of everything), "Strom kommt aus der Dose" (electricity from a plug), and "Levi's macht die Hose" (Levi's makes the pants), all superficial symbols of success and status. The second verse sarcastically thanks two lottery wins and "glibberweiche Eier" (slimy eggs), while still insisting that the evening is for being "Freier" (single and free). The bridge mentions the Castor transport of nuclear waste, which is a thinly veiled critique of the government and their policies, suggesting that everything is irradiated and doomed to fail.
