DieMonsterDie hail from the land of Zion, the land of Mormons, Elizabeth Smart, the Osmonds, Larry King's wife, and Ted Bundy's execution. The grand Salt Lake City..DMD began the downward spiral, into misery, murder and grotesque in 1995 as Casa Diablo which released the first and only album, The Continuing Mission To Destroy Rock N roll. Shortly after the release the band took a small hiatus, and upon its return came, the name DieMonsterDie along with the name came a whole new outlook physically, mentally and emotionally, no longer man.....monster. and so it goes on today.
DieMonsterDie have toured the western United States on a couple of occasions, and have plans to tour in the very near future. It has been far too long, and the monsters are hungry to meet all the fresh victims and the Zealots Of The Bloody Circle (DMD fan club) worldwide. DMD hope to soon cover the entire US, as well as Europe, and Satan willing.... our other home Japan.

Dead Flowers
Diemonsterdie Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Talkin' to some rich folk that you know
Well I hope you won't see me in my ragged company
Well, you know I could never be alone
Take me down little Susie, take me down
I know you think you're the queen of the underground
And you can send me dead flowers every morning
Send me dead flowers by the mail
And I won't forget to put roses on your grave
Well when you're sitting back in your rose pink Cadillac
Making bets on Kentucky Derby Day
Ah, I'll be in my basement room with a needle and a spoon
And another girl to take my pain away
Take me down little Susie, take me down
I know you think you're the queen of the underground
And you can send me dead flowers every morning
Send me dead flowers by the mail
Send me dead flowers to my wedding
And I won't forget to put roses on your grave
Take me down little Susie, take me down
I know you think you're the queen of the underground
And you can send me dead flowers every morning
Send me dead flowers by the U.S. Mail
Say it with dead flowers in my wedding
And I won't forget to put roses on your grave
No, I won't forget to put roses on your grave
The song "Dead Flowers" by Diemonsterdie features lyrics that are open to interpretation, but many believe it to be a commentary on the wealth gap and the superficiality of wealthy society. The first two stanzas seem to describe a conversation between a wealthy individual and someone who is part of a lower social class. The person speaking, who is likely the lower-class individual, references "ragged company" and seems to feel intimidated by the wealth and status of the person they are speaking to. However, the singer also seems to feel a sense of self-worth and refuses to be alone or feel inferior.
The chorus of the song, which features the repeated phrase "send me dead flowers," can be seen as a mocking statement directed at the wealthy individual. Flowers are typically associated with beauty, love, and joy, but dead flowers have lost their beauty and turned into something that is no longer valuable or desirable. By asking for dead flowers, the singer is essentially saying that even the most beautiful and valuable things can be rendered worthless and disposable, much like the people who occupy different social classes.
The second half of the song describes a scene where the wealthy individual is once again contrasted with the singer, who is using drugs and seeking companionship as a way to cope with their pain. The final stanza, which references putting roses on a grave, could be seen as a veiled threat or a darkly humorous commentary on the transience of life and the inevitability of death.
