The lyrics to Digger's song The Boot describe a situation where the singer is trying to figure out a way to break up with someone who is clearly infatuated with him, but whom he no longer wants to be with. The lyrics convey a sense of frustration and annoyance that the singer is feeling towards his partner, as he expresses his desire to end the relationship.
The lyrics suggest that the singer is finding it difficult to get rid of his partner, as she seems to be very persistent in her pursuit of him. He is constantly avoiding her and does not want to be seen with her in public, which highlights the fact that he is no longer interested in her. Despite this, the singer seems to be struggling with the prospect of hurting her feelings and is trying to find a way to end the relationship without causing too much pain.
Overall, the song is a depiction of a toxic relationship that has run its course, and the singer is trying to find a way to extricate himself from it without causing too much damage.
