Use Me
Digital Summer Lyrics

Just a simple taste of your lips can steal my pain away
Every time that I look in your eyes I can see something’s killing you
So don’t fight what you’re feeling inside cuz I know you need this too
Let me be the one you use…
I’ll be you antidote, you be my cure for this cold and lonely night
Put our problems behind us and just for this moment pretend everything is alright
Let me use you…. And I’ll let you use me
I don’t even mind that we hide some things that are better left unspoken
Cant we just be selfish for one more night cuz some rules were ment to be broken
And I don’t know how we got here, but I know that I shouldn’t care
And despite what we think is wrong or right, We both know that I shouldn’t be here tonight… but it’s worth a try
(chorus)
…you’re like a drug and I am so addicted to you
But I cant let go even though I know I should, its true
(chorus)
Let me use you… like you want me to
Let me use you
You can use me… to forget these memories
The lyrics of Digital Summer's song Use Me talk about a relationship that is filled with pain and problems, but at the same time, it brings comfort and relief. The singer describes how just a touch or a taste of their partner's skin can make everything okay. They acknowledge that something is bothering their partner, but they encourage them not to fight the feeling and to use each other as an escape from their problems, even if it's just for one night. The singer admits that they are both selfish and that certain rules are meant to be broken, as they indulge in each other.
The song is essentially about using each other in a mutually beneficial way, not just physically but emotionally too. They both acknowledge that it's not necessarily the right thing to do, but they are willing to take the risk because it's worth it to forget their pain and feel the comfort they bring to each other.
In summary, the song talks about a relationship that is filled with pain, but the partners find a temporary escape through each other's touch and emotional support. The song emphasizes the importance of being there for each other during tough times, even if it's just for a momentary escape.
