Thanks CW. This fix worked for me. After a SPIN, the cycle was going back to RINSE but it seems to got fixe after I used this fix. I just want to share that it is rather difficult to pull the coil rods out from the Top hence i fixed this from the bottom opening. Thanks again!

All I did was turn the washer off then turn it back on and put it on a different cycle and it starting working like normal again

Many of the new washers have gone to the 4 rod suspension. I just had a amana washer suspension rods go bad (shock absorbers). The amana had piece of rubber like material which dampens the up-down and back and fort movement of the drum. I tried a similar method of pipe insulation wrapped around the rod. It would help the up and action, but not the sideways action. Parts are extremely scarce right now, somes are months on back order. These units should have a balancing spring between upper tub and the suspension rod for more stability. I opted the get a new washer (which is hard to do with most units on back order.

My WA52J8700A has this problem. About a year ago it started throwing uB codes during spin and then would stop completely. I replaced all the suspension rods. Worked for about a year, and now it's doing the spin/rinse/spin/rinse/spin/rinse thing, extending out over up to 2 hours. Timer keeps resetting to more time. No DC codes thrown anymore, which is very puzzling. This sounds like the rod problem all over again, but why no DC codes??? Doesn't make sense. What a POS. The perpetual spin/rinse gig must be controlled by the stupid computer; why doesn't it throw a code if it's so screwed up? This thing is wasting all kinds of water and electricity because if you leave it alone it just goes forever! Oh wait, it has an "ECO PLUS" setting! hahaha

Thank you for this fix. My springs already had a small black spacer on them but I added the hose anyways to tighten them up. Now the washer runs full spin cycle and doesn't stop and reset to since again. Thanks!!!

PLEASE BE AWARE, THERE IS A RECALL ON THIS MACHINE. I have this machine bought it about two years ago, about a month after buying I found out it had a recall for a problem with the lid blowing off and injure or kill. Samsung sent a repairman out and he bolted the top down and replaced the label with one that changed the high speed to medium speed. This machine is junk, not only does it not add enough water, but in the wash cycle it barely moves the clothes around. Take my advice, and don’t waste your money.

@CW PIERCE My problem is that the clothes don't seem to come out clean. I add extra water to combat the fact that the clothes weren't getting fully wet but it doesn't seem to actually clean the clothes. Not sure if you had that problem? Just seems like the clothes sit in water and don't really agitate or get clean.

We finally bought a new one, with a family of seven and constant laundry, ours lasted 5 years, with three different home repairs, then we bought a new one. The crazy spinning is what becomes dangerous.

Washer was having this issue and vibrating violently. After researching a bit, I came to the conclusion I needed to replace the suspension rods. After successfully doing so, my problem still persisted.

Then, I came across your video, and it was the first time anyone suggested a loose bolt under the agitator plate. Checked mine and found I could easily turn it with my fingers. After tightening it, my problem was resolved.

Wish I came about your video the first time, would have saved me a couple bucks. The rods were probably due to be replaced anyways. Thanks for your video! Saved me a lot of frustration.

CALIBRATE BEFORE YOU DO THIS!! Heres my experience . Bought a used washer and got the error code first use. Flipped it over and noticed the springs already had a soft rubber sleeve on them not sure If stock. Went to Home Depot and got some stiff rubber tube and zipped tied it to the springs. Gave it a test run and lots of Clunking!!!!. I then decided to calibrate it and it helped. Still had clunking but less and it finished a high speed spin. It's like at a certain speed it wobbles but once it speeds up it's fine. My thinking is I added too much rubber hose and the springs aren't absorbing the shocks. However, after this trick the washer spins faster than it used to. No error code and a newer model too

@forrest fuller I did it again with softer hose and wire. The vibration cleaned up. Sometimes I get the code and just have to time it so it doesnt refill and spin. Sometimes It works without error. The fix is just to keep it running on crutches, but you have to watch it because some loads do start vibrating like crazy. It still washes you just have to manually turn it off after a spin so it doesnt repeat

It's a Mickey Mouse job why? You know you can buy the piece that already has this fix in place. THE FIX WORKED GREAT!!!! No more problems and easy to do.
