1. Dillinger (born Lester Bullocks on January 25, 1953) is a prominent reggae artist. Dillinger was part of the second wave of DJ Toasters who sprung up around Jamaica during the mid 1970s. Inspired by Big Youth, U Roy, and Dennis Alcapone, Dillinger was known for his quick wit, humorous lyrics and vulgar content ("crab in my pants").
As a youth growing up in Kingston, Jamaica, Dillinger would hang around Dennis Alcapone's El Paso Setup. This exposure would eventually lead to a full time gig at Jackie's sound system. Just as Alcapone took his performing name from a famous American gangster, Dillinger took his own name from John Dillinger.
The song "Cocaine In My Brain" is considered an all-time reggae classic and was even featured on the K-Jah reggae station of GTA: San Andreas.
2. A progressive Rock band formed in Ontario, Canada. They released two albums in total. the first was the self titled which was released in 1974 and then Don't Lie to the Band which was released in 1975.
Their music was progressive with bluesy riffs in a hard rock vein. The music was fairly complex and keyboards , vocals, saxophone , flute, accordion, drums, guitars and bass was used.

Chasing things that I thought weren't there to be beat, downstream but upbeat.
And there's not much to say but we've both been thinking how,
We can both stay alive, when the gears stuck in drive, but you're by my side.
And I tried to stay awake while you fell asleep,
Still miles away from the company I keep.
I'm further in distance for more of the time.
I know that I'm selfish and I know you don't mind.
Hoping that someday soon I can follow them back.
Cause we've both made mistakes and I'm paying for mine.
I'm further in distance for more of the time.
It's not the same talking through a phone screen, we're losing out.
And I've been counting down the days, and I know you do the same.
And I know you do the same.
And I tried to stay awake while you fell asleep,
Still miles away from the company I keep.
And I honestly try to keep you mind, I know that I'm selfish and I know you don't mind.
I've been dragging my heels in attempts to leave tracks
Hoping that someday soon I can follow them back.
‘Cause we've both made mistakes and I'm paying for mine.
I'm further in distance for more of the time.
I've been dragging my heels in attempts to leave tracks,
Hoping that someday soon I can follow them back.
‘Cause we've both made mistakes and I'm paying for mine.
I'm further in distance for more of the time.
I've been dragging my heels in attempts to leave tracks,
Hoping that someday soon I can follow them back.
‘Cause we've both made mistakes and I'm paying for mine.
I'm further in distance for more of the time
In "Fernando Sancho" by Dillinger, the singer reflects on their journey with a loved one, emphasizing the theme of distance and how it affects their relationship. The first two lines suggest that the singer and their companion have come a long way on their own and are moving forward quickly without any setbacks. The line "chasing things that I thought weren't there to be beat, downstream but upbeat" implies that they have been chasing an unknown goal with enthusiasm.
The bridge of the song shifts from their journey to their current situation: being apart from each other. The line "It's not the same talking through a phone screen, we're losing out" highlights the disadvantages and lack of intimacy that comes with virtual communication. The singer then provides insight into their thoughts and feelings, acknowledging their own selfishness and mistakes, and hoping to create a path that they can follow back to each other.
Overall, "Fernando Sancho" is a song that poetically conveys the idea that distance can often cause difficulties and conflicts, but with the right mindset and effort, love can overcome those obstacles and lead to a brighter future.
