Two years later, the legendary vocalist Wladimir Lozano enters the group. Bearer of a voice of extraordinary sweetness and beauty, Wladimir and Oscar D 'Leon would form one of the most memorable duets that Latin music has ever known. The vocalists Argenis Carrullo, Rodrigo Mendoza and Andy Montañez were also part of this remarkable group.
In its long musical career, Dimensión Latina has earned numerous awards and trophies. Its fame and influence, characterized by the innovation and high quality of their beautiful choruses and unique arrangements, very quickly handed over the Venezuelan border, won great success in its debut in New York in the 70's and rapidly becoming one of the most popular salsa bands in Central and South America as well as in many cities in the United States and Europe.

en mi tormento ahoga
quiero cantarte taboga
viendo tu luna plateada
tagoba reina de las flores eres mi inspiracion
porque sentir una pasion que me lleno de amores
taboga eres tu tan bella
que no te puedo olvidar
Porque sentir una pasion que me lleno de amores
taboga eres tu tan bella
olvidar mama
taboga taboga mia ya no te puedo olvidar
por quererte cantar oye taboga mira mi inspiracion me ahoga taboga
taboga mia ya no te puedo olvidar...
The lyrics to Dimension Latina's "Taboga" describe a night of quiet desperation and longing. The singer is drowning in their torment and seeks solace in the island of Taboga, which is bathed in the light of a silver moon. Taboga, known as the "Queen of Flowers," is the singer's inspiration, filling them with a passion that overflows with love. The singer is unable to forget the island's beauty and wishes to live and dream within her starry mantle. The repetition of the phrase "ya no te puedo olvidar" (I can't forget you anymore) emphasizes the singer's intense emotions and longing for Taboga.
The song's lyrics capture the essence of a classic Latin American love song, with vivid descriptions of natural beauty, longing, and the power of love. The island of Taboga, located off the coast of Panama, inspired the song and is known for its lush landscapes, striking beaches, and vibrant culture. The song's message and lyrics have resonated with Latin American audiences for decades, and it continues to be a beloved classic of the genre.
