This happened to me 6 days ago. I'm 29. I went to sleep last Tuesday. I didn't have any problem at all. I don't have nothing wrong with me, but when I woke up the next day at 4am I was completely blind from my left eye. At first I thought it was normal because the lights were off, but when I went to the bathroom to shower I still couldn't see anything so I started worry about my eye. I put some drops in my eye and nothing happened. Everything was black and I didn't have any pain or discomfort. Nothing. It was just black. I showered thinking that it could help, but no. So I went to the hospital and they couldn't find anything. I stayed the whole day and night at the hospital. I had many studies, however they couldn't find any problem with me. at the end of the next day they said that I had a dot of blood in the main artery of my eye. They just gave me sperine, and now I could see a little more from my left eye. Still blurry but it's not black as the first day. Now, 6 days later I can see around the eye. But still gray in the center of the eye. I hope I can see better in the next few days. Every night I go to sleep and pray for me and my vision. It's really important to go to see your doctor. They're going to do as much as they can to get you back your vision.

Hello sir , please I beg you to help me . If I roll both my eyes simultaneously my vision goes black and if I jump or move fastly during sports I see veins like lightning bolts in my vision and if I press my eyeball anywhere for 2–3 seconds my vision goes completely black.After I see a bright object its outline still persists in my vision. This happened to me and I’m in my teens. The vision lost is in my peripherals, but also comes with numbness in my limbs that spreads from one area to the next including my mouth and renders me from talking normally. This has happened about as six times in the span of 2 years. It’s definitely not good. 😢

This literally just happened to me about four days ago. I was diagnosed with branch retinal vein occlusion from my ophthalmologist yesterday and my symptoms are identical to those of the man in this video. We seem to be about the same age. I am 62 and ironically, was raised in Pasadena as well. I can't read normal sized print with my left eye at all and it's scary. I see a retinal specialist tomorrow. I can only hope the results of this test from five years ago yielded some positive results! My prayers and best wishes to anyone else who has had this unfortunate occurrence.

As a follow up to my last comment, I have seen the retinal specialist twice. She told me that I had two strokes in the left eye and immediately started treatment with my first visit. An injection of Avastin in my eyeball. A month later, I had a second injection, but my progress has been remarkable and very encouraging. I would say at this juncture I have had atypical results with about 98% of my vision in the affected eye restored, with a good chance of the rest of it resolving on its own - I'll know more after my next visit later this month. With doctor approval, I also started a nitric oxide therapy regimen and I can't say for certain that this has helped, but it clearly hasn't hurt.

@@claaes I'd be pleased to. My personal results have been fantastic. Much better than anyone anticipated or expected. I received injections of Avastin into my eyeball on my first two visits to the retinal specialist, about a month apart. My last visit, she took more pictures and seemed quite surprised to the extent at which I have recovered, so much so that she declined further treatment but wants to see me in another six weeks. My affected eye tested at 20/25 vision and my unaffected eye at 20/20. Personally, I feel like I've made as close to a full recovery than I could have ever hoped for. On my first visit with the specialist, I asked her if she was familiar with nitric oxide. She was, but had never tried it for this. I asked if there would be any harm in my trying it as a supplement to my treatment. She said I could try it and seemed intrigued, saying that it might make for an interesting clinical trial. She then took more baseline pictures of my eye. With each visit, she was really impressed with my progress and asked me to bring in the product I use during our next visit. In looking at the before and after photos of my inner eye structure, the results have been pretty amazing. She was hard pressed to even identify where the blockages are (I had two) in my eye. The macular edema has resolved as well. I am feeling really grateful at this juncture.

this happened to me just 2 weeks ago, 34 year old female, i wear glasses but no other brain or eye issues. woke up one morning noticed the top half of my right eye vision was gone can see around it slightly. no other symptoms apart from flickering and fuzzyness sort of like a dark stormy cloud in my eye. all tests scans and bloods done. doctor noticed a white patch on my eye at the back but doesn't know what's caused it. possibly a viral infection which i did have 2 weeks prior to my eye issues but i hope my sight comes back to normal :/

I had an eye stroke seven months ago. I noticed blurry vision in my right eye. Then suddenly I couldn’t make out letters or numbers. Thankful that my vision went from 20/60 to 20/40 in one week. Now it’s back to 20/20 but I still have some issues. I had COVID last year and my dr said that could have been the cause. I heard diabetes, high blood pressure, or high cholesterol cause this as well. I don’t have any of those issues. That’s why they suggested COVID was the culprit. I’m now on three thousand milligrams of fish oil everyday as well as a baby aspirin every night.

This is exactly what happened to me back in March on my birthday at age 62. Left eye. There is nothing they can do. They say it must be treated within 15 minutes. Well that is never going to happen unless you actually live in the hospital & even then it is very unlikely they could have done anything to save the vision.

I’m here because of my blurred darken vision in left eye as well! When I look out of my left eye only it seems as if someone dimmed the light.
Also, I am nearsighted,but when I try to read with my left eye only it’s like there’s a blurry spot in my direct line of eyesight.
Strange. I noticed it maybe 3 days ago after waking up and leaving home for work. Once I knew my vision was too troublesome for a whole day of driving an 18 wheeler I made a u turn after driving about 10 minutes away from home to go back home and switch contacts thinking that was the problem.
I must have convinced myself that everything was fine but Last night I was reading a book and felt that my vision wasn’t sharp but again it was isolated to my left eye.

This happened to me a month ago, on a tuesday i was at costco and suddenly lost my vision on my right eye, i thought i was getting dizzy but after a minute vision recovered, didnt pay attention as it didnt hurt me at all, not my eye, not my head, nothing, friday of that same week, i felt again as if someone was pointing a flashing light directly in me eye and suddenly, BOOM!! my right eye went blackout, as if colored had been inverted to black and white, i tried to be calm and be sane, i went to sleep and shut my system off, next morning my vision came back with colors, but everything look as i had a sparkles filter in my eye, white things or led lights are uncomfortable to look at so i wear sunglasses even at supermarket, that day went to eye dr, did plenty of exams but everything came out ok, perfect, no hypertension, no diabetes, no overweight, no cancer, brain ok, heart is fine, dr still dont know what to do, and is frustrating as my right eye hasnt improved, and still have this type of overexpose filter in my eye which is annoying as some days gets worse.!! 😞 @alainmeneses3727 any news? im 35 BTW, Mexican in cancun

Chronically high BP can cause BRVO which means fluid is leaking into the retina because the veins in the eye are pumping too hard for too long. I had uncontrolled BP for a year or so because no meds were lowering it. I wound up needing an eye injection in June and the next day my new BP med worked to finally control it. I have been back to the retina specialist every 2 months since June and my vision is 20/20 - I asked him if we could stretch the visits to 4 months instead of 2 and he agreed but wants to wait until it has been 1 full year. I am ok with that.

The optic nerves always passed with blood cell, and think blood stop when there malfuction was occurring on the system of the eyes and brain when transpasses data or vision from what on eye sight. I am confused in the video because doctor said it happens when the optic nerves flowed/passed with blood or bieng interacted that's why there is sudden blindness is occurring, in the matter of fact nerves always passes or interacted with blood cells. Maybe the blood stop flowing and the sudden malfunction or stroke is occurring that's why sight couldn't be delivered to the brain.

I recently had my own experience of things happen few weeks back i had double vision when that went away days later i had wavy eye sight in the same eye so when your looking at something horizontal or vertical it appears to be very wavy it lasted 3 days even though that went away i get at times a very small flickering on bottom of eye not eye lid sometimes the effect of very tiny transparent dots that are spinning but like i said very small not big at all, i also see yellow tiny lines that shoot across my eye up & down also a spot of light dark circle when i open my eye in the dark, i do get pain in both eyes that start up as well i have to take Tylenol or ibuprofen to calm the pain down, i called an eye place they never heard of many these symtoms, many people will start experiencing strange symptoms as they age & generally there is no magic cure in many cases, i am just glade i dont see the wavyness anymore the other things that go on yet i just deal with it.

For 6 years my right eye has had issues. Out of no where, my eyesight goes fuzzy, I see spots of colour and then only a thick haze of grey. Those many years ago, I went to an eye doctor and they concluded that it was due to migraines and prescribed me with eyedrops. UPDATE!

it happened to me 2 months ago that I couldn't see from my right eye all of a sudden, like seeing in negative, next day colors came back but exposure very bright, and see floating things, after two months of intense studies of all kind which they all came more than healthy, first they said it MIGHT be long COVID, but another eye Dr told me to test on TB tuberculosis, and came back positive, I live in Mexico so I have to go through public health system ,even though it's not tradicional TB (on lungs and cough blood very contagious) eye TB is real and just yesterday started my 6.months treatment so, I hope this helps my eye. my husband woke up 2 weeks ago half blind in both eyes, left side - it has improved slightly but not much still has a black spot and an aura with waves, colors, shapes - weird - he has a history of migraines. It happened to me, they didn't know what the problem was since I was 29 and all the patients in the eye ward were 2 or 3 times my age. They eventually started giving me injections in my eyeball to clear blood and twice the doctor messed up. The worst was he hit another vessel at the back of my eye which bled out and filled my eyeball. I walked around for a month with a bright red eye. There was no white. I had (and still occasionally have) eyegraines (sharp stabby migraines in the eye) and as a result of that doctors mistake(s) my confidence in the hospital plummeted and I never returned. I suffered from sever depression not long after that due to my mum passing, my girlfriend leaving me - admitting to being pregnant with another man's baby - 2 weeks after holding my hand at my mums funeral, my housemates all moved out without ever getting put on the tenancy and I lost my job so I was then homeless. 5/6 years on I'm still depressed and I haven't worked in all that time, covid didnt help. But I'm close now. Ive passed a course recently and I'm preparing to get back out there, but I'm still blind and mentally scarred from that 2 month period where I lost my entire life and have yet to get any part of it back

Sounds like optic nerves doesn't deliver a vision to the brain from the left eye. Or the brain couldn't read properly the vision from what's been on the sight from the left eye.
The sudden malfuction can be the brain or one of those optic nerves. I also encountered this problem from too much playing of mobile legend after I finish my breakpast. My eyes get blurred when I'll lose in the match. Honestly. And just this morning my half eye was blind during yhe game and can see only black and slowly retrieve vision after 3-8 minutes. My eye vision is just like covered with whole black, then slowly turn 1half the upper side is black while the bottom side can see, until the black become 1/4 there is small black in the upper leftside in the eyes sight. Lastly black was completely disappear.

I have floater and flashes. I have seen an eye doctor and no retina tear, however I was just diagnosed with afib so not sure if this is from my heart or my eye, however twice I have been sound a sleep and have been woken up by flashes and lights and not being able to see. I panic and go the bathroom and try to see and it goes away, however it is the same as acid reflex except it is flashes in the eye that wake me up. Have no clue what it is related to heart , stroke, or retina . Can not find anything on it and do not know what kind of doctor to see about this. Anyone else had this happen and no what it is caused by???

idk what's happening to me, i was doing a tik tok moving eyes side to side rapidly when just above my right eyelid i got a sharp pain, i focused on object and it went blurry for a half a second then i went to another object and it went blurry once more. It seems to be when i switch to one object than the next it goes blurry for a little. idk what to do im freaking myself out i looked it up and it said i had optic neuritis but my mom said i don't.

@@hphxo hey! so it went away like a day after, honestly i put in some eyedrops and took a nap and it seemed to be better. if it doesn't get better by a day or two i would maybe see a doctor. also once u put some drops in, close ur eye and lightly massage it. i hope everything gets better:)

I am 36 years old i am working here in canada and i am just new here i am a foreign worker. 5 days from now just like the others mo eye sight is normal or my vision is normal when i just wake up in the morning my left eye sight is very bad now. When i open my two eyes i have a double vision but when i closed my left eye i have one vision when i closed my right eye i have have vision but when i open my two eyes when seeing on left i have double vision. It happened to me a yr ago. I have a dog, so I thought maybe a dog hair had got in my eye. It was itchy, and like looking through a black spiderweb. I tried washing out my eye, and everything else I could think of. Two days after Xmas, and no eye dr would see me. It didn't hurt, so I thought maybe it would go away. Mine was/is my right eye. I had no clue what it was. So I went to an eye specialist in another town. Probably four or five different doctors came in and looked at it, they couldn't figure out what it was. They gave me eye injections anyway!
I have had the laser treatment to burn off the bleeding veins. Of course, eye drops also. This week it has been 1 year. That eye went completely blind after the laser - which after I got home felt like a wild mule trying to kick it's way out of my skull. When this first started, it didn't hurt. But now, it hurts every single day. Still using drops, supposed to get another eye shot in a couple of weeks - it won't restore my sight they said. So, IDK. Those shots are painful, even though they tell you that they're not.

it happened to me 2 months ago that I couldn't see from my right eye all of a sudden, like seeing in negative, next day colors came back but exposure very bright, and see floating things, after two months of intense studies of all kind which they all came more than healthy, first they said it MIGHT be long COVID, but another eye Dr told me to test on TB tuberculosis, and came back positive, I live in Mexico so I have to go through public health system ,even though it's not tradicional TB (on lungs and cough blood very contagious) eye TB is real and just yesterday started my 6.months treatment so, I hope this helps my eye. This has happened to me, in my left eye, the arteries are deteriorating and my peripheral vision in my right eye is failing. I have a brain AVM and it’s located close to my brain stem. Can somebody explain me what is the problem with me !
When i scroll on my phone fast for e.g ( on instagram scrolling all the people whos seen my story)
I can’t focus on anything it’s unexplainable and also when i am travelling and the vehicle is going fast, its like i am on whole another plain ! It seems like its affecting my consciousnesses!

Now through more research! I have got to know due to my TBI in 2020! My perception of reality is also disturbed! I am almost never happy and always with anxiety and i am not like before! Any optometrist that graduates bottom of his class can dilate the eye and compare the optic nerve in both eyes and see that one is pale which shows a stroke why this guy had to go to an ophthalmologist and then to some neural opthamologists just ridiculous everyone should be on Aspirin therapy unless you have a bleeding problem
