1. Dinosaur is an acclaimed jazz (or 'jazz-meets-synthpop') group from the United Kingdom, led by trumpeter and composer Laura Jurd and featuring keyboardist Elliot Galvin, bassist Conor Chaplin and drummer Corrie Dick. They are signed with British label Edition Records and released three albums thusfar: Together, As One (2016), Wonder Trail (2018) and To The Earth (2020). 2. New York-based avant-garde cellist and composer Arthur Russell formed Dinosaur in the late 1970s and released the first disco single on Sire in 1979. That single was 'Kiss Me Again', which featured David Byrne on guitar and Myriam Naomi Valle on vocals. Whilst not a commercial hit, it soon became an underground classic, due to it being championed by Larry Levan of Paradise Garage.
3. Legendary alternative rock band, Dinosaur Jr from Amherst, MA, United States, were originally formed as Dinosaur in 1983. Founding members were J Mascis (guitar and vocals) and his high school classmate Lou Barlow (bass guitar), following the break-up of their hardcore punk band Deep Wound. Shortly afterwards, Murph (Emmett Patrick Murphy, drums) joined them. They changed their name following the release of their debut, Dinosaur (1985), when a band called The Dinosaurs (featuring ex-members of Country Joe and the Fish and Jefferson Airplane), threatened them with legal action. Although later pressings of the 'Dinosaur' album have been credited to Dinosaur Jr, the album was in fact the band's only album released under the original band name.

Dinosaur Lyrics

Justice has finally escaped
The dripping words of yesterday
Set my feeble mind astray
I yearn to see
The glow of her eyes as I appear
A sign of satisfaction
Could be the sweetest sound
I've already started back down
Come on
I love the caterpillars
Munching on the leaves
Pitter patter
Makes me forget my disease
Bugs have feelers just like me
And I'm feelin' oh so lonely
Disturbed in every sense of grace
The lady wouldn't give me a taste
Of the joy that means that much
It lives within her touch
Why won't you be my friend
I would love to hold you tonight
Even if we just pretend
Why won't you be my friend
Why
Why won't you be my friend
I would love to hold you tonight
Even if we just pretend
Why won't you be my friend
Be my friend
I'd love to meet the one
Who broke my heart
I know she'd melt me with her dance
Her subtle colors, her sweet smile
But it's a shame
She'll never get that chance
The lyrics of Dinosaur Jr.'s song 'Quest' are open to numerous interpretations. The verses talk about a person longing for something beyond their reach, be it justice, satisfaction or love. The first two lines of the song indicate that the person is turning towards a brighter future, which is free from the injustice that they've had to endure. However, the succeeding lines about the "dripping words of yesterday" suggest that the past continues to haunt them. This internal conflict sets the singer's mind astray and makes them yearn for ultimate satisfaction, which could be signified by the glow in someone's eyes when they meet him or her.
The song then takes a sharp turn with the lines about caterpillars and bugs. These lines could be interpreted as a momentary escape from the singer's troubles, as watching the bugs munching on leaves makes him forget his "disease" for a while. The song then takes a more somber turn, with the singer bemoaning the fact that the "lady" heard in the song doesn't want to be his friend. He longs to hold her, but even that seems out of reach. The last lines about the person who broke his heart round off the song with a sense of loss.
The song appears to have a quasi-narrative structure, with the singer wrestling with their inner demons, craving emotional and spiritual fortification. The caterpillar and bug imagery may be interpreted as a metaphor for the microcosmic world hidden in plain sight, and the singer's yearning for connection may be seen as a reflection of the existential crises we all face.

I saw it in Indianapolis a few months ago, and I thought it was very cool. Almost all the Dinosaur were moving and talking. All of the staff were wonderful. Everyone we saw, and talked to were smiling and having a great experience. Kids, and adults.

Honestly this looks like a zoo of dinosaurs.
The only thing I would say they should improve on is having the dinosaurs actually Walk around like on Jurassic Park.. Now THAT would be impressive. Only thing is making sure your safety precautions are in good shape 👍
Smilo the Sabertooth
I went to the Jurassic Quest when it came into town and it was awesome, I loved it. These dinosaurs were far bigger and more accurate than any that I’ve seen at similar events, so totally worth it. 🦖🦕👍

Ordered our tickets 2 weeks ago for this weekend. WE CANT WAIT!
Mum & Lizzy Lark’s Adventures
I’m hoping the lines will not be that long. It’s a 3.5 hour drive to get there from where we are, and I hope my toddler will like it. There was a video here on YouTube (WA venue), that shows a 2 hour wait for the ride. Im just making sure it is worth the money, and that long drive. We’re trying to make it on April.

I was just there and it was amazing. I got to ride 3 dinos and even got to pet a baby t Rex. I got a pterodactyl named Tare (I named it when I bought it).
Sonny Chavez
Was the pterodactyl a plushie that you got to take home?

If your kids are 5 and under they'll enjoy it. Other than that don't waste your money. Most of the animatronics were either not on or just broken. The tickets cost way too much for how little they have. After about 30mins I was ready to leave. There's nothing exciting about this.
Vanessa Pierre
Thank you because I was just about to buy those tickets
