1. Dio was an American heavy metal band formed in 1982 and led by vocalist Ronnie James Dio. Dio left Black Sabbath with intentions to form a new band with fellow former Black Sabbath drummer Vinny Appice. The name Dio was chosen because it made sense from a commercial standpoint, as the name was already well known at that time. The band released ten studio albums and had numerous lineup changes over the years, with Dio himself being the only constant member. Guitarists included Vivian Campbell, Craig Goldy, Doug Aldrich, Warren DeMartini, Tracy G, Jake E. Lee and Rowan Robertson. The band dissolved in 2010 when Ronnie James Dio died of stomach cancer at the age of 67. Dio has sold more than 20 million albums worldwide.

I’ve been way beyond your universe
And I’ve seen things that I should never tell
But here I go again I just can’t keep it to myself
The story of my world and how I fell
Round and round
And still I shake the same
At the rhythm of her name
Electra
Electra
I believed in love and miracles
So how can I be blamed for what I’ve done?
And if it’s still a sin to hide the best parts for yourself
Then I have sinned but only just begun
There’s no thunder, no lightning
Just a gentle breeze
To warn you that something
Will bring you to your knees
Round and round
You’re caught inside the circle
Still I shake the same
At the mention of her name
Electra
Electra
Hey, I’ve been way beyond your universe
And I’ve come back to introduce to you
The fear of the heart, just try to keep it from yourself
And it will be the last thing that you'll do
Round and round
You’re caught inside a circle
And you will shake the same
At the magic of her name
Electra
Electra
I am here to show my changes
Not to change what I’ve become, no, no
I’m not alone and she will testify
That it’s the best thing that I’ve done, oh, oh, for

Electra
The lyrics of Dio's song "Electra" contain a story of a person who has seen things that they can never reveal. It's a story of falling and love, and the emotions that come with it. The lyrics are symbolic in nature, and there are different interpretations to the story.
The song starts with a confession of having seen things that the person should not tell. However, they go on to talk about how they cannot keep it to themselves and reveal the story of their world and how they fell. The lyrics "Round and round, the square inside the circle" refer to the circular nature of life and how things keep coming back around. The person still shakes at the rhythm of Electra's name.
Further along, the lyrics refer to believing in love and miracles, and how the person cannot be blamed for what they have done. There's a sense of guilt, but also a sense of justification. The gentle breeze is a warning that something will bring you to your knees. The lyrics suggest that even though there's no thunder or lightning, something awful could happen. The person cannot escape the circular nature of life and is still caught inside the circle.
Overall, the lyrics of the song "Electra" speak of love, guilt, and the circular nature of life. The story is intense, and the lyrics are open to interpretation.
