@Niki Davis you are so right, when some of the Motown Artists like little Stevie Wonder, The Supremes etc toured America & the UK the audience was a handful and they weren't appreciated. The Beatles heard their sound and alot of their inspiration came from Motown. The contribution to the WORLD is astounding...yet we are treated STILL like slaves in a Nation we not only built, but graced with our LOVE, SOUL, and culture...with National TREASURES like Dionne Warwick who has raised me and bathed me in the knowing of our greatness as a People. No sound is like this sound...no meaning to each note like the meaning she filled with each breath...this the work of a Mighty God to fill her with such talent and to bring it forth with what seems like effortless notes and such clarity of word and intention. She made a song come ALIVE for the composer. We are so blessed to have recorded the evidence so we may be bathed over and over with such grace.
