Way of the world
Discovery Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

love the mountains,
I love the clear blue skies
I love big bridges
I love when great whites fly
I love the whole world
And all its sights and sounds

Boom-de-ah-da, boom-de-ah-da
Boom-de-ah-da, boom-de-ah-da

I love the oceans
I love real dirty things
I love to go fast
I love Egyptian kings
I love the whole world
And all its craziness

Boom-de-ah-da, boom-de-ah-da
Boom-de-ah-da, boom-de-ah-da

I love tornadoes
I love arachnids
I love hot magma
I love the giant squids
I love the whole world
It's such a brilliant place

Boom-de-ah-da, boom-de-ah-da

Boom-de-ah-da, boom-de-ah-da
Boom-de-ah-da, boom-de-ah-da

Overall Meaning

Discovery's song "Way of the world" is an upbeat, feel-good anthem about loving the world and all its wonders. The lyrics are composed of a series of statements expressing appreciation for different things in the world. The opening lines, "love the mountains, I love the clear blue skies, I love big bridges, I love when great whites fly," create a sense of wonder and awe for the natural beauty of the world. The inclusion of "great whites fly" is particularly interesting, as it refers to the rare sight of a great white shark jumping out of the water.

The chorus is a repetition of the phrase "Boom-de-ah-da," which is a nonsensical word that adds to the playful and lighthearted tone of the song. The second verse continues with the theme of appreciation for the world, deliberately including things that may not be considered conventionally beautiful or pleasant, such as "real dirty things" and "tornadoes." This suggests that the song is not just about loving the good parts of the world, but rather about embracing all aspects of it, even the difficult or unpleasant ones. The final verse includes references to "hot magma" and "giant squids," tapping into a sense of fascination and curiosity that many people have for the mysteries of the natural world.

Overall, "Way of the world" is a celebration of the world and all its diversity. It encourages listeners to take a moment to appreciate the beauty around them and to embrace the complexity and unpredictability of the natural world.

Yes our history is not what we are being told and we've been here millions of years if the truth could be found but I don't believe they can dig that deep in the earth to find anything left ... of our existence ...

I've said that for years. We weren't apes we've always been humans. The advanced civilizations that have been found from over 500,000 or more years ago were those that survived a nuclear war on Mars. They were very advanced and had the knowledge to build ships to save as many people as possible. They knew that the Earth was habital so they came here. The giant ship that was found under the sea was 1 of the ships that brought them here.

According to scientists, and according to this extract, ancient humans lived from about '27 000' years ago

With that said, the ancient world was one continent. (Pangea) Therefore, humans would have lived and died on the continent before it was broken up by earthquakes and continental shifts, to become the world it is today. That explains why bones would be found in South America from what was Alaska. It would've been easier to roam the continent since it was not broken up at the time

Ive brought this theory up for years ,but nobody seems to get it. its the same for dino bones and other things that are in strange places. eons ago, the planet was very very different than what we know now. Humans hunted ( and tamed) dinosaurs. Also the Egyptians did not build anything on Giza, they found it , uncovered it , that's it. If humans believe other humans built everything on the plateau , why is it so hard to believe in Aliens and that we were created to be here , we did not evolve. genetically created. why have there ever only been one specimen of pre human? humans did not live alone and most of the time they did not die alone and since there was very little human on human violence , there was very little war.

My favorite mystery is, which came first, the chicken or the egg? My best guess is the rooster.

@babbarr77

Anunnaki: just because they called them “Gods” doesn’t mean they saw them the same as Gods in Western mythologies. Aliens is a term that’s closer to the truth, if you read the way they are described, than Gods. They showed them how to be a civilization. Was there genetic programming? It’s ignorance to just believe what they say they thought it was. Believe the description of what the Anunaki did to them.
