Más Allá
Diván du don feat. Los Aslándticos Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

No tengo, no tengo,
No tengo bolsillos
No tengo, no tengo,
No tengo juicio
No tengo, no tengo,

(Agua)
Eh
Eh

Eh
(Agua)
Eh
Eh
Eh
(Agua)
Más allá de la marea,
Que sube a buscarme

Oigo los pasos,
De otro sol salvaje
No hay viento que pueda,
Derribar corazones valientes
De un verso me agarro,
Hoy no tengo cuidado

No tengo, no tengo,
No tengo bolsillos
No tengo, no tengo,
No tengo juicio
No tengo, no tengo,

Eh
Eh

Eh
(Agua)

Overall Meaning

The lyrics of Diván du don feat. Los Aslándticos's song "Más Allá" speak about a new awakening every day when we open our eyes, to scream out in excitement for what's to be experienced. The song hints at a cyclical nature of life, where everything begins anew, every day. The image of thirsty lips begging for a sip of water is symbolic of the basic yet critical need for sustenance which motivates all of us.

The song encourages one to go beyond what they can hold in their hands, to explore unknown territories, and to run without a purpose. The lyrics state that there are no invincible ships, and nobody is immune to Fear. But today is different. Today, the singer has no rivals. They're not bound by anything materialistic or superficial, as is evident when they proclaim that they have no pockets, no sense, and no wants either.

The idea of a brave heart is further highlighted when they lyrically assert that no wind can shake a brave heart. They cling to the power of words and boldly exploit it to the maximum. In all, the song seems to suggest a new dawn of self-realization, hope, and overcoming fears to live life to the fullest.
