The first time I had heard this song I had goosebumps because the lyrics were very relevant to a ghastly experience I had with someone who was cyber hacking and stalking me. I couldn't even have told his friends who knew me since they were friends with him longer than me because I knew they wouldn't have believed me. To make it worse law enforcement where I live does not regard such matters seriously.

He had asked for us to be friends after he was done using me sexually sometimes and stringing me along that we'd be together. Despite how I wanted us to be together I respected his wish. Then he went cold and ignored me.

Months after he tried to get on good terms with me, I stood my ground after realising his game and refused to play. Then the hacking started and it grew worse. He would leave secret messages inside my Facebook in little statuses set to "only me". I got paranoid, shut every social media platform down and even got rid of my phone cause I knew he was monitoring me from time to time via google location since he knew my number.
But I survived it all.

I'm so sorry to hear that you went through all that. You really understand my lyrics. Venting through art is very healing and writing my songs was very healing for me. That is really tough when no one would believe you if they even knew. I get it. I've been there. Many of my songs, such as "Hate You to Love You" and "My Turn", are also about when those tables turn.
