In late 1983, Predrag Cvetičanin (guitar, vocals) with Zoran Đoređvić (guitar), Branko (bass guitar), and Boban (drums) formed the band Dobri Isak. Having performed at minor local clubs, the band recorded a home made demo recording, however, the lineup dissolved during the summer of the following year. After several months Cvetičanin, with bassist Miloš Miladinović, and drummer Saša Marković "Markiz", reformed the band.
In the period of 1984 and 1985, the band member also became Nenad Cvetičanin, Predrag's brother, who joined the band while his own, Arnold Layne, was on hiatus. Together, the band recorded their first and only studio album Mi plačemo iza tamnih naočara (We Cry Behind Dark Glasses), released in 1986 by the Niš Student Cultural Center (SKC), being the first release of the Studentkult production, which released an array of musical and literary releases. The album, released on compact cassette only and printed in a limited number of 100 copies, had been distributed by the Ljubljana ŠKUC, and rapidly sold out.
The band presented their new material to the Niš audience, also performing at the 1985 Serbian Youth Festival in Knjaževac, winning the best performance award, and gaining the opportunity to appear at the Dani Novih Omladinskih Novina in Split on Summer of the same year. After the Split performance, the band appeared with several other Niš bands at the Pozdrav iz Niša manifestation in Skopje. In a short period of time, the band had another performance in Skopje, appearing as guests at the first solo concert of the band Padot na Vizantija. During the late 1985, the band performed at the Rock Bands Festival held at the Belgrade Dom Omladine, and on early 1986, the band had two appearances at the Zagreb alternative rock festival Yu Rock Moment, on March in the semi-final, and on May at the festival finale, held at the Republic Square, performing with Let 3, Oktobar 1864, and Mizar.
In 1994, on the album Land Ho!, Nenad Cvetičanin's band Arnold Layne & Alhemija, covered the song "Mi plačemo iza tamnih naočara", and on June 1996, Dobri Isak held their last concert, performed at the Niš Synagogue, appearing with Arnold Layne and Mizar, after which the band split up.
On December 2009, the label PMK Records rereleased Mi plačemo iza tamnih naočara with seven additional bonus tracks comprising of unreleased material.

Tu u uglu
S tvojom senkom prema zidu
Tu u uglu
Svi smo srećni kad si tu
Strašno se bojim
Da ne izgubiš kontrolu
Jer, pre nego što padne mrak
Svi su već, u tvojoj glavi
Otvori vrata
Udahni maglu mojih snova
Otvori vrata
Tišina dugo odzvanja
Staklene oči
Koliko mnogo godina
Hladno leto prolazi
Smeje se u mome oku
All yours, I’m only in your dreams
All yours, I’m only in your dreams…
Darkest Darker
Right there in the corner
With your shadow against the wall
Right there in the corner
We are all happy when you are here
I'm terribly scared that you might lose control
Because before it gets dark
They're all already in your head
Open the door
Breathe in the fog of my dreams
Open the door
The silence echoes long
Glassy eyes
How many more years
The cold summer is passing
It is laughing in my eye
All yours, I’m only in your dreams
All yours, I’m only in your dreams…

Glad
U krugu oka, ispod nervozne koze
Mirno ceka glad
Napukle snage, ali gvozdenog stiska
Vreba glad
I kada mislim da je svega mi dosta
Kada krenem da se hvatam za zemlju
Opet osecam glad

Tu u uglu
S tvojom senkom prema zidu
Tu u uglu
Svi smo srećni kad si tu
Strašno se bojim
Da ne izgubiš kontrolu
Jer, pre nego što padne mrak
Svi su već, u tvojoj glavi
Otvori vrata

All yours, I’m only in your dreams…
