Can we rock for a minute, yeah
Let it rock for a minute, yeah
Let it rock for a minute, yeah, ay
Yeah, ay, yeah, uh, yeah
Hey child, I've been missin' you for a while
You look so beat down, you've been out of town
I know I ain't been 'round in a minute
Seen that you ain't cried in a minute
One fish, two fish, red fish, blue fish
Truth is we've ain't dived in a minute, oh (talk to 'em)
Today could be the day
That I revive an old friend, uh
That could be the day
That I revive a new sense of freedom
Passion and completion
Don't you know that, uh
You got that something real
You got that something real
You got that something real
And I'm home, uh
You got that something real
You got that something real
You got that something real
And I'm home
Even when they off, lights off
Cameras on flash with the brights off for you
Lost, in the barbeque sauce
Did everything to be a big boss
But it cost, your loss
When it all falls down, is your fault
And you toast
Be-doo, be-doo, be-doo
Good news is, you are your influence
Something 'bout you is true is
What you choose to do with your light
It's so bright, it's so goddam invitin'
Your child is alive
Baby, won't you let it shine? Ooh
Today could be the day
That I revive an old friend, uh
That could be the day
That I revive a new sense of freedom
Passion and completion
Don't you know that
You got that something real (something real)
You got that something real (something real, yeah)
You got that something real
And I'm home (home, to-na-na-na-na)
(Talk to 'em, yeah) (let's try this)
You got that, uh yeah
You got that, you got that light
You got that, uh yeah
You got that, you got that light
You got that, yeah (got-got-got that light)

In "Something Real," Doechii addresses a former friend or lover who has been away for some time. She's acknowledging the changes that have taken place in their lives since they've been apart, and recognizes that life has been tough on her friend. The chorus is an uplifting message to her friend, telling her that she's made of something real that can withstand anything life throws her way. She urges her friend to embrace her light and let it shine, and encourages her to experience a newfound sense of freedom, passion, and completion.
Doechii sends a powerful message in this song, reminding her listeners to embrace their inner strength and shine their light for the world to see. The song's lyrics are inspiring and uplifting, and the music complements them perfectly. The drumbeat and synthesizers give the song a modern feel that sets it apart from other tracks in the same genre.
