Lightnin' Strikes Again
Dokken Lyrics

The lights go down
You can feel it all around you
Like a razor's edge that cuts through the air
You can hear the sound
It's coming down like thunder
You don't have to tell me why
You don't have to care

When the lightnin' strike again
And the lights go down
And you might be near the end
When the lightnin' strikes again

You draw the line
And you leave it all behind you
You lost your mind and then you lose control
By the time
That you feel the lightnin' strike you
You know you've been holding back
You've got to let it go

Lynch is something special, and Dokken may have been one of the most underrated singers of all time! Made his millions as he should!

Military Veteran

I also grew up in the 80's. THEY WERE THE BEST TIMES OF MY YOUTH, 80's WERE THE BEST DECADE EVER, LIKE EVER. I USED TO BE SOOOOOOOOO IN LOVE with Don Dokken, he used to be so handsome back then, But then of course, one day, we're ALL gonna get fat and old, Lmbo. Yep, SO TRUE George Lynch AND Don Dokken WERE SO UNDERRATED, BUT THANK GOD for YouTube so i can STILL LISTEN TO MY TOP 10 FAV. ROCK BANDS Of THE AWESOME 80's, woooohooo!

Misty Mangham

A LOT of people always talking LYNCH.... PILSONs BASS playing freaking phenomenal and Wild Mick Brown pounding the skins.... The backing vocals DOKKEN as a whole under appreciated.

DarK Toad One

Yes they are both great, Pilson is very respected in the industry, he's been on a lot of albums.

one of the best metal songs ever

I agree

Dan W

Also fitting that they named one of their later albums after this one :)

Torkel Svenson

This riff is so much harder and more painful than it sounds. It'll kill your fingers
