1) A Popular French rock group Dolly got together in Nantes, a town in the west of France, in 1991. Their formation came about thanks to drummer Thierry Lacroix and singer Emmanuelle Monet - aka Manu - who shared a mutual passion for English and American music. The Anglophile duo teamed up with two musician friends - bass-player Mick Chamberlin and guitarist Nicolas Bonniere (who was just 15 at the time!) - and went on to make a name for themselves on the local music scene as Dolly & co.
Dolly and C°'s early influences might have been lifted from the best chapters of an English/American rock compendium - indeed, the group's sound was heavily influenced by the likes of Blondie, Prince, the Pixies and the Smashing Pumpkins. But lead singer Manu's greatest source of inspiration was the work of English indie diva PJ Harvey. The young French singer was fascinated by Harvey's deep, melancholy vocals and, after seeing PJ in concert, Manu decided to accompany her own singing on guitar. Performing extensively on the local music scene, Dolly and C° soon began to build up an extensive repertoire (most of which was written by Manu). And before long the group attracted a massive following of fans.
Encouraged by this early success on the local music scene, Dolly and C° went into the studio to begin work on their debut album. After producing a mini album (featuring six tracks), Dolly and C° went on to produce their first full-length album themselves. (The album, entitled simply "Dolly and C°, actually scored a considerable hit on the national music scene, selling over 85,000 copies).
Shortly after the release of their début album, the group underwent several major changes in their line-up, re-inventing themselves as Dolly. The new-look Dolly went on to sign a recording deal with the East West label and then returned to the studio to set to work on a new CD album.
2) Dolly (alternative tag: Ｄｏｌｌｙ) is a Japanese indie visual kei rock band formed in 2005 and currently signed to FUJI PRODUCTION.
Boasting a melodious guitar sound and a stylish musical sensibility that's dark and rich with attitude, band Dolly lures audiences into their elaborate fairy-tale world with their fusion of catchy radiance and a darkly distorted perspective.

The release Ussetsu Drop had their first proper PV with more of a budget than the previous.
Now they have just released the Red and White singles of the tricolore opera trilogy making a total of 3 pvs and 9 songs.

In "C'est Pour Toi," Dolly expresses her love for someone and how she is willing to do anything for them. She is tracing and writing these lines just for them, and she feels trapped and consumed by the force of her love. Despite this, she questions why so much love is necessary to live. She longs for passionate love stories and to make those around them jealous. She wants to do things that will drive her love crazy and leave them begging at her feet.
Dolly talks about going to places where hearts are emptied and being willing to take her love's place there one day. She acknowledges her need for love to live and survive. She wants to tell stories that will leave her love breathless and be in a relationship that pushes them to the edge. Ultimately, she again expresses her desire to see her love on their knees and to take their relationship to the max.

A quand vous venez en Belgique, je vous écoute depuis la découverte à l’époque année 90 je ne veux pas rester sage, je vous croyais perdu de vu , plus jamais entendue depuis, et j’apprends à l’instant ce n’est plus Dolly mais plutôt Manu, je ne savais pas 😱😭😭😱, je suis fan du rock métal j’écoute toute chanson de monde entier en préférence Nirvana, et c’est la seul groupe rockeuse française que j’écoute encore ça date ça m’a marqué, la j’ai vraiment envie savoir un jour ainsi assister au concert en Belgique 🇧🇪
