Never Burn Your Bridges

Don't ever forget, those who helped you along your way.
Your ego flies, high to the sky.
Remember what goes around, comes around.
Every one, needs someone.
But it seems, you've forgotten...
Cause you never know what life has in store for you.
Always do the good and good will follow,
Cause you never know what happens tomorrow.
Time is the master, yeah, time can be disaster.
Help a brother if he's down, yeah, yeah.
Love and be loved, and you'll be blessed from above.
But it seems, you've forgotten...
You should never burn your bridges behind you,
Cause you never know what life has in store for you.
Always do the good and good will follow,
Cause you never know what happens tomorrow.
Time is the master, yeah time can be disaster.
Help a brother if he's down.
Love and be loved, and you'll be blessed from above.
But it seems, you've forgotten...
Yeah
You should never burn your bridges behind you,
Cause you never know what life has in store for you.
Always do the good and good will follow,
Cause you never know what happens tomorrow.
You should never burn your bridges
Behind you, cause you never, oh no no.
Always do the good and good will follow,
Cause your never, oh no no.
You should never burn your bridges behind you,
Cause you never know what life has in store for you.
Always do the good and good will follow,
Cause you never know what happens tomorrow.
The song "Never Burn Your Bridges" by Don Campbell advises listeners to remember their roots and those who have helped them in their journey towards success. The song encourages listeners to live by the principle of "what goes around, comes around," to be kind and helpful to those in need, and to never forget the significance of being loved and giving love back.
The chorus "You should never burn your bridges behind you, cause you never know what life has in store for you," serves as a reminder that cutting ties or burning bridges with people from one's past can have unforeseen consequences in the future. The song advises people to always do good and be good to others, as living by these principles can attract positive outcomes in life. The lyrics also call attention to the inevitability of time and how it can bring both blessings and disasters, further emphasizing the importance of being mindful of one's actions and treating people with kindness and respect.
In conclusion, "Never Burn Your Bridges" is a motivational song that reminds listeners to be grateful for their beginnings, maintain positive relationships, and to strive towards becoming kinder and better versions of themselves.
