No One
Don Wise Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

(I need someone to say I do)
No one to cry to now, no one to say goodnight
No one to tell my troubles to

I've got no one, to sigh to, no one to hold me
Tight
No one to cheer me when I'm blue
When I go home to my lonely room
And find there's no one there
And each night I think of you, so please answer this
One prayer

And you'll need someone, I said to cry to
Someone to say I do
Someone to whisper I love you

When I go home to my lonely room
And find there's no one there
And each night I think of you, so please answer this
One prayer

And you'll need someone, I said to cry to

Someone to say I do
Someone to whisper I love you

Another GREAT presentation, Nate.

Definitely got the Ole wheels turning!

I could listen to him for days. Will have to get his books for sure

Gave me much to think about and reconsider. Sometimes, we like to believe all things are cut and dry; but it turns out to be nothing like we think.

Going to share this with many!!

Thanks again for all you share. Really does make a huge difference. If we stop learning we become rocks lol

Have several friends who deployed to the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. Have talked to all of them in the past few weeks and it’s amazing what they all have in common. They have all sat their children down at some point and actively told them why they will NEVER be joining the military for any reason what so ever. Told them about the grisly sights they saw. The lost time they never got back. Killed friends. Broken marriages, let alone the daily battles with PTSD, depression, anxiety and self harm thoughts that they gained during their time. Gen Z was already one of the biggest anti-war generations in a long time and they’re the ones who would be getting drafted if this madness continues. I cannot fathom the pain and never ending suffering they would have if they have to go through a WW3 situation of any kind. Thank You for your content, Nate. You’re easily my best news source for this subject.

most people who got duped into fighting don't want to see their children suffer the same fate!
