Feels so good to me
Love has come around
Feels so good to me
I′m so glad about
Someone like you, babe
I'm so glad about
Love has come around
Feels so good to me
Love has come around
Feels so good to me
I′m so glad about
Someone like you, babe
I'm so glad about
Someone just like you, babe
(Love
Has come around
Love) oooh
(Has come around
I'm so glad that love) Oh, you can lay that love, baby
(Has come around
I′m so glad that love) I′m so glad
That, I'm so glad that love has come around
(Has come around
I′m so glad that love) Isn't it, is it good to you, baby?
(Has come around
I′m so glad that love) It feels so good, ooh, hoo, yeah - heah
(Has come around
I'm so glad that love) Are you
Ready for me? Are you ready for me, baby?
Has come around
Got to find a way
To be with you right now
Pushing to find a way
To be with you right now
I can′t wait another day
To hold you in my arms
I can't wait another day
To hold you in my arms
I'm so glad that love has come around
I′m so glad that love has come around
(I′m so glad that love has come around)
Oh, you love that love has come around
(I'm so glad that love has come around)
It feels so good to me
(I′m so glad that love has come around)
I'm so glad that love has come around
(I′m so glad that love has come around)
Love, love
(I'm so glad that love has come around)
Ah - ha, I′m so glad. Are you glad?
(I'm so glad that love has come around)
Every time I think about it, it makes me wanna sing

I was a young teenager in NYC (Woodhaven/Ozone Park) and this song was on the air all the time (98.7 Kiss FM, 92 KTU, 107.5 WBLS) synchronized on loud car systems. The summer of 1982 was the best year ever for me. I went to the beach every day that summer (via a 50 minute subway ride on the beatup "A" and "C" lines) where everyone's boom boxes were also synchronized on the train AND on the beach. It was magical! Other hot tracks were "Situation" by Yaz, "Walking On Sunshine" by Rocker's Revenge, and "Do It To The Music" by Raw Silk. Ohhh!

I think this song came out in 1981, the year I graduated High School. But nonetheless everything you wrote is spot on from a nostalgia standpoint.
