Doni and Momchil (Bulgarian: Дони и Момчил), were an influential Bulgarian pop-rock duet in the 90s of Doni (Dobrin Vekilov) and Momchil (Momchil Kolev). They are the authors of the music, the lyrics and the arrangements of their songs.
Prior to his singing career, Doni studied pharmacy. He began studying music in 1988 and took part in the bands "Atlas" and "Medicus". Momchil is a Bulgarian musician and composer. Since 1989, he has been working as a composer and pianist with popular new wave bans Klas.

The lyrics of Doni i Momchil's song "Shapka na cvetni petna" depict the singer walking around with a hat covered in colorful spots, while observing the different people and situations around them. The first verse describes happy elderly people running along the beach contrasted with crying babies, but the singer is unfazed and continues their walk. In the second verse, the singer observes chubby women with magnifying glasses for eyes saying goodbye to the rhythm of the cha-cha-cha.
