The awesome prince of peace
The lamb who died for me
Be exalted high
Lord of lords
It's you my heart adores
You shall reign forevermore
Excellent in all Your ways
Receive all glory as
We lift our hands and say
Holy one, be exalted
Holy one, be glorified
Holy one, Your ways will never change
Be please as we exalted Your holy name
Holy one, be exalted
Holy one , be glorified
Holy one, Your ways will never change
Be please as we exalted Your holy name
You said if you would be lifted up
You would draw and men with
Your grace and love
Holy one, be exalted
Holy one, be exalted
Faithful one, be exalted
Faithful one, be exalted
Exalted, exalted, You are
Holy one, Your ways will never change
Be please as we exalted Your holy name
The lyrics of Dorinda Clark-Cole's song "Holy One" contain a deep reverence and adoration for God. The refrain of the song repeats the phrase "Holy One," emphasizing God's incredible holiness and greatness. The songwriter references John 12:32, where Jesus says, "And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to myself." The singer is expressing her desire to lift up God's name so that others may be drawn to Him.
