Move On
Douglas J. McCarthy Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

I was thinking 'bout calling you
I was thinking you'd gone
I was thinking 'bout calling you
But I think it's time to move on
I was thinking 'bout calling you
I was thinking you'd gone
I was thinking 'bout calling you
But I think it's time to move on
I found myself in the half light on the dark side of the full moon
I realised I was spaced out, I was wasting my time thinking 'bout you
I wanted so bad just to feel like I was in your arms
I thought that maybe if I'd called there'd be a chance you'd come
Ooh think it's time to move on
I was thinking 'bout calling you
I was thinking you'd gone
I was thinking 'bout calling you
But I think it's time to move on
I was thinking 'bout calling you
I was thinking you'd gone
I was thinking 'bout calling you
But I think it's time to move on
I was thinking 'bout calling you
I was thinking you'd gone
I was thinking 'bout calling you
But I think it's time to move on
I was thinking 'bout calling you
I was thinking you'd gone
I was thinking 'bout calling you
But I think it's time to move on
Ooh think it's time to move on
I called but you let it ring so I burned your clothes outside your front gate
I thought that I would be sad but I think I'm more mad you didn't wait
For me to pull myself back together again this time
You didn't listen so I lied and told you I was fine
Ooh think it's time to move on
Ooh think it's time to move on
I was thinking 'bout calling you
I was thinking you'd gone
I was thinking 'bout calling you
But I think it's time to move on
I was thinking 'bout calling you
I was thinking you'd gone
I was thinking 'bout calling you
But I think it's time to move on
I was thinking 'bout calling you
I was thinking you'd gone
I was thinking 'bout calling you
But I think it's time to move on
I was thinking 'bout calling you
I was thinking you'd gone
I was thinking 'bout calling you

But I think it's time to move on
Ooh think it's time to move on
