The only change in the band's lineup was the addition of the American vocalist Michael Vescera (Loudness, Yngwie Malmsteen) in the Dr. Sin II times (2000). Vescera only remained in the band for a short time as he soon left the band to start his own solo project.
The band has released a total of 10 albums, including American/Japanese/European versions and singles. They released Listen to the Doctors, in 2005, an album that contains only covers songs with the word "Doctor" in their titles. In 2007, the band released Bravo, after almost seven years without any new songs released.

How Long
Dr. Sin Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
But it don't seem like you know
I sang your praise like an old songbird
But I don't suppose you heard
I climbed my voice to the top of my lungs
But I'm standing on the tip of my tongue
And all I see only looks the same
Oh soul of mine, look out and see
My time that is to be
I fight for you
My love is war
The battle of Baltimore
I took you back then
I'll take you down the road
You're with me on my own
Oh soul of mine, look out and see
My time that is to be
How long must I wait?
The lyrics to Dr. Sin's "How Long" are an exploration of unrequited love and the frustration that comes with it. The singer is professing their devotion to someone, but it seems that their feelings are not reciprocated. The opening lines, "I walk with you everywhere I go/But it don't seem like you know" are an admission that the singer carries the other person with them, even though that person may not be aware of it.
The second verse continues this theme, with the singer singing about how they have tried to get their beloved's attention, but to no avail. "I climbed my voice to the top of my lungs/But I'm standing on the tip of my tongue" suggests that the singer has tried to declare their feelings loudly and clearly, but something is holding them back. The final line, "The picture is the frame," implies that the singer sees everything through the lens of their unrequited love, and all they can see is an incomplete picture.
The chorus shifts the focus to a battle-like metaphor, with the singer declaring "My love is war/The battle of Baltimore." This could be interpreted in a few different ways - perhaps the singer feels like they are fighting for their love against external obstacles, or maybe they feel like they are battling their own feelings. The repetition of "How long must I wait?" suggests that the singer is tired of waiting for their love to be returned, and wants to know when they will finally get what they desire.
Overall, "How Long" is a poignant exploration of unrequited love and the frustration and longing that comes with it. The lyrics draw on vivid metaphors and imagery to create a sense of urgency and determination, even in the face of rejection.

The picture is the frame
The situation always remains the same despite minor variations

The battle of Baltimore
A constant struggle to be together despite obstacles
I took you back then
I accepted you then
I'll take you down the road
And I'll continue to support and accept you in the future
You're with me on my own
Although it may sometimes feel like we're alone, we still have each other
How long must I wait?
How much longer must I wait for you to feel the same way?
