As well as Robin & Barry Dransfield, the band included vocalist/bassist/keyboardist Brian Harrison and drummer Charlie Smith. The album is a classic folk-rock album. In 1977 the band split up.

slightly dark folk rock from the always interesting Dransfield. Starts with a variation of the traditional tune Blacksmith arranged for echoplexed violins. Contrasts with leads brilliantly into the Alchemist and The Peddler a great tune with a great melancholic vocal
