You don't have to go, oh oh oh oh oh
You don't have to go, oh oh oh oh oh
You don't have to go
Ay ay ay ay ay ay
All those tears I cry, ay ay ay ay
All those tears I cry, oh oh ah ay
When I read the letter you wrote me, it made me mad mad mad
When I read the news that it told me, it made me sad sad sad
But I still love you so
I can't let you go
I love you
Oh, baby I love you
Oh oh oh oh oh oh
Every breath I take, oh oh oh oh
Oh, every move I make
Oh, baby please don't go
Ay ay ay ay ay ay
You hurt me to my soul, oh oh oh oh
You hurt me to my soul oh, oh
Darling please don't go
When I read the letter you sent me, it made me mad mad mad
When I read the news that it brought me, it made me sad sad sad
But I still love you so
And I can't let you go
I love you
Oh, baby I love you, oh
Oh oh oh oh oh oh
You don't have to go, oh oh oh oh
You don't have to go, oh oh oh oh
Oh, baby
Babe, please, please, please, please
Oh oh, oh oh, oh oh, baby
Oh oh, oh I really love you, baby
The lyrics of Dread Zeppelin's song D'yer Mak'er speak of a person who is trying to persuade their significant other not to leave them. The song is filled with pleas and desperation as the singer acknowledges the pain that their partner might have caused them but also expresses undying love and tells them that they don't have to go. The repetition of "oh oh oh oh" and "ay ay ay ay" create a sense of urgency and emphasize how much the person wants their partner to stay.
The lyrics "When I read the letter you wrote me, it made me mad mad mad / When I read the news that it told me, it made me sad sad sad" indicates that there was a communication breakdown that led to the current situation. The singer is hurt but cannot let go of their love for their partner. They feel a strong connection to them and cannot imagine living without them. The song ends with an unresolved plea for their significant other not to leave.

I have seen Dread Zeppelin several times. Always a great show. Musicianship is outstanding and the comedy aspect is great. Adds a real twist to the Zeppelin classics. Keep rockin Torte Elvis!!!!!!
