That's very kind of you, Kelly. This video was shot when DZ was very new. We still really didn't know how the act would go over - that's why Tortelvis' little aside to the camera man in the beginning of the vid cracks me up... he says something like "Man, I don't think they're gonna get this shit..." or something to that effect. Priceless!

Hell I love these dudes!! Don't care who knows it, I've been rockin' DZ for a long time now. The live stuff is fun, but to truly appreciate their talent, you need to sit down, put on some headphones and commit to the experience. Thanks for many years of entertainment!

I was led to this video by Jah Paul Jo's Aug 24 Dread Talk article. This song is so good it is not funny -literally! DZ's musicianship by any standard is off-the-charts sick. The arrangements transcend parody. They are original and inspired and as tight as any mega-star band anytime, anywhere.

Just to clarify, this performance in Chino was followed by the one for the Woodstock cast and crew in the late afternoon which Joni Mitchell herself witnessed. Then a show at Club Lingerie in Hollywood. Quite a day!

@dreadzeppelindottv Thanks, I'll check it out! A a funny DZ moment. The second time I saw you guys live was at The Chestnut Cabaret in Philly. One of my friends resembles Greg in real life and dressed as a full metal Tort for the show. When we walked in, the crowd carried him towards the front, all the while he's trying to tell them that he's not Tortelvis. Finally convinced that he wasn't Tort, he was dropped flat on his back, knocking the wind out of him!

@GrippoMarx ... Believe it or not... we only played this song live once... three times! In the morning, played a party for the reunion of the cast and crew of the movie, Woodstock. We learned this song specifically for any of the famous folk that might show up. We lucked out and had both Joni and David Crosby there.... (more)
