something I don't think people notice is how in beyonce's version it's "I've got one night" instead of "You've got one night"...
the small lyric difference (combined with the style) really says something...
Effie' s version is a Torch song about someone who is so desperate for love and validation she will take what she can get even if it's just one night with someone who wants commitment but won't return it.
Deena's is actually exactly the opposite, it's about someone who's pretty much got everything she wants in life, but won't commit, she's just in it for the fun...
she's literally the yang to Effie's yin.
