I had a dream last night where I covered this song. This is a beautiful song, but so true about way too many relationships. Sometimes love is so heartbreaking that you almost wish you'd never loved anyone in your life, but believe me it's much better to love someone than to never feel that emotion or shut it off from your life. I personally feel that love is the key- the most important thing there is. I'll give love all the time. Trouble is sometimes you give love and don't get it back. May I add what a great voice this guy has!? Wow. And he's a great guitar player. Mark Mangold is a genius.

Thank you so much! I'm glad someone out there cares about me. I've turned to music for salvation and it is THE ONLY THING that can ease the pain. This is the 4th time in a day and a half I've played this song. The night doesn't seem never ending I just wake up feeling like nothing. This song really sums it all up. "We thought we found what they call love/What have we found?/There was a time you were on my side/Look At Us Now." That says everything. I have just heard that Al Frisch died. It will take me the rest of my life to grieve over all these losses. My best friend died of cancer last year. He didn't like AOR, but on just about all other musical spheres was my educator, soul mate, and best friend. I rephrase the lyric to "If this is Life/Tell me why did I get such a raw deal." Nothing is sadder than love ending. Al had so much passion in his writing and singing. This news couldn't have come at a worse time.

Thank you. I've been talking to my friends and family about Bill my best friend a lot. He was a very guarded person you had to win over by being interested in what drove him along. I was like that and I still am. He definitely would have wanted me to continue to be a musically minded person. I now, though, find NHL hockey my biggest interest along with music. I need to get some instruments and start recording. A lot of things work as therapy. I think you seem a good psychologist and I say it's an honorable job.

As a psychologist i can tell you that what you're going trough is absolutely normal and there's nothing to be shamed about.
I would suggest to talk to someone competent and be free-mindend doing so. It can help you in so many ways, expecially on coping about your friend's lost.
Don't consider yourself sick or crazy, just someone who needs to talk with someone that can REALLY help you.
That's my advise.
I hope you get well soon friend, and just carry your friend's spirit all over your heart, this way he's always part of you.

I went through a horrible breakup where my world fell apart. Nothing is worse than giving love and getting none in return. If this is love why does it feel there's a world between us that is right. That's how I feel. Maybe better off without him. Only makes me love this song even more.
