We just got a basset hound, and I give him the Droopy voice. It fits so well because of the way his face naturally sags, and the way he prances around all happy, then he freezes and stares at me and I go “I’m so happy,” then he just tilts his head. It is literally the cutest thing ever.

I always loved Droopy as a kid on 📺. He rarely lost his cool, only did what was needed at the time & got the girl in the end. Bill Thompson was the Original Voice Actor & I still think of him as the standard.

I miss all the great shows, cartoons, movies, and the action figures that we had back in the day. 1980s was the greatest of all.
The years go by fast and we grow up fast as well. I never thought I would be come an adult this quick. They say time does fly by quick and guess what, here we are now a lot of us in our 40s and 50s.

You know it's funny that when they did this episode of Droopy fighting that bull and the bull drawing a mustache and a beard on the picture and Droopy punching the Bull in the chin and then spinning him around by the tail they used that same animation in the episode where he and Spike went to try to slay a dragon where the dragon did the same thing to a picture of the princess that Droopy was holding and Droopy doing the same thing to the dragon that he did to that bull the only difference is after the tail swing Droopy broke the Dragon's tail and then hit him hard enough to cause the Dragon's scales to fall off leaving him in nothing but his boxers and the dragon picking up his scales and what was left of his pride and ran off.
