Formed back in 1992 while students at St. Mary's College of Maryland, drumfish initially released two well received albums - drumfish (1997) and Rah's Zoo (1998). Under the pressure of starting families and careers, the band disbanded for about six years, but reunited with renewed focus and inspiration during 2009 to release their third CD "Under Underhill". They also performed a sold-out reunion show later that year at Jammin' Java in Vienna Virginia. Joining the band in 2011 was Graham Drew (bass) and Margie Lang Garnhart (violin). On May 12, 2012, drumfish recorded their first live album ("FIVE LIVE") at the State Theatre in Falls Church VA for an upcoming CD/DVD release. The band is actively performing throughout the remainder of this year and recently performed at Baltimore's Star Spangled "Sailabration" event and the 31st annual Artscape Festival.
