(1) Bertha Elisa Noeggerath Cárdenas —más conocida por Dulce — es una cantante y actriz mexicana. Nació en Matamoros, Tamaulipas, el 29 de julio de 1955. Inició su carrera en 1974 y comenzó a ser conocida a nivel internacional a principios de la década de 1980 con su nombre artístico.
Estudia psicología en Monterrey, Nuevo León.[cita requerida] Allí debuta como cantante con el nombre de Dulce el 15 de septiembre de 1974 en la banda "Toby y sus amigos".1 Luego se muda a la Ciudad de México, donde pronto encuentra proyección como solista, gracias al afamado cantante José José.1
En el 1978 gana el primer lugar en el Festival de Mallorca, en España, con la canción "Señor amor" de Armando Manzanero, con la cual también obtiene el premio de Mejor Intérprete en el Festival de la Canción Yamaha en Tokio.1
En el año de 1981 participó en el Festival de la Canción de Bulgaria con el tema La cantante.1
Entre sus éxitos como cantante se encuentran "Tu muñeca", "Amor en silencio", "Lobo", "Déjame volver contigo" y "Heridas".
En el mes de agosto de 2009 participó en el único concierto de Armando Manzanero y sus mujeres en el Auditorio Nacional (Ciudad de México).2
Como actriz ha participado en varias producciones de telenovelas de Televisa en papeles de reparto.1
Radica actualmente en la Ciudad de México. En el 225 aniversario de la fundación de Matamoros se le nombró Hija predilecta de esa ciudad fronteriza.
(2) Maria Teresa Magdalena Abellare Llamedo, better known by the stage name Dulce, was born on July 22, 1961, near Cebu City, Philippines. Llamedo competed in several singing competitions as a teenager. She got her big break when composer George Canseco came across her singing at a Manila club while searching for a singer for the theme song for the 1978 film Miss Dulce Amor, Ina. Llamedo thereafter became known as Dulce.
In 1979, Dulce recorded her most famous song "Ako Ang Nasawi, Ako ang Nagwagi" ("I Had Been Defeated, I Had Won"). She performed the song at that year's Asian Singing Competition (Hong Kong) and won the grand prize.
In 2003, Dulce received a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Philippines' Aliw Awards, which celebrate entertainers.

The lyrics of Dulce's song Si Tú Te Vas reveal the pain and vulnerability of a person who has fallen deeply in love with someone who is leaving them. The first stanza describes how the person fell in love with all of their partner's flaws and virtues, and they grew to love their partner's way of life and habits. The person believed in love and the concept of a couple because of their partner, and they believed in the promises their partner made to them. However, despite their deep devotion, their partner is leaving them, and they feel lost.
In the chorus, the person agonizes over what will become of them if their partner leaves. They implore their partner to teach them how to live without them because they feel unable to do so. The second stanza repeats the first, stressing how the person became accustomed to their partner's loving gestures and touch, and they placed their partner on a pedestal. Now that their partner is leaving, they cannot fathom existing without them.
