Their style was based on an acoustic and simple pop-rock with a touch of rockabilly in great contrast with the more radical rock played in the area at the time. After being hired by 'Grabaciones Accidentales, S.A.' they contributed with two songs (Mi Amor and Bésame Mucho) to the new bands compilation La única alternativa (The Only Alternative).
In 1985 they recorded their first album, Por Tierras Escocesas (Around Scottish Lands), and Canciones (Songs) a year later, both produced by Paco Trinidad. The songs were immediately successful and gave them big popularity. After even more successful El Grito del Tiempo (The Cry of Time, 1984) and Grabaciones Olvidadas (Forgotten Recordings, a compilation of B-Sides, 1989) they became a duo and recorded the double album Autobiografía (Autobiography), with collaborations by Black and Sam Brown among others. They later also had several hits such as "Esos Ojos Negros" ("Those Black Eyes"). They finally came to a close as a band with their final cd, "Crepúsculo y Crudités" (Sunset and Crudités [1]) which was more orchestrated and softer than their older music.
Their most known hit is "En Algún Lugar" ("In Some Place"). The song was initially featured in Canciones, but it was the remix included in El Grito del Tiempo that became widely popular.

No digas más, no digas más
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no
No llores más, no llores más
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no
Que no soy yo por quien llorar
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no
Me dormiré, me dormiré
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no
Seis horas para amanecer
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no
Acuéstate, que yo ahora iré
Tendrás después del alba que amar sin mí
Tratando de no pensar
Tragándome la verdad
Seis horas para marchar
Mirándote una vez más
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no
La brisa aquí no huele igual
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no
No hay nadie aquí, quien abrazar
El miedo vive dentro del pantalón
Rozando la eternidad
En vuelos a ras del mar
Negando la realidad
Para poderlo contar
Rozando la eternidad
En vuelos a ras del mar
Abejas cerca de aquí
Están tirando a matar
The lyrics of Duncan Dhu's song Rozando La Eternidad tell the story of a man who is leaving someone he cares about deeply. The repeated no's signify the singer's attempt to convince both himself and the person he is leaving that it is for the best. He urges them not to cry for him and assures them that he is not worth their tears. The line "las botas en el suelo esperan ya" translates to "the boots on the ground are already waiting," indicating that he is ready for his journey and has made up his mind. He tells the person to lie down and go to sleep because he will soon leave, and they will have to learn to love without him.
As the song progresses, he tries to distract himself from the pain of leaving by avoiding thinking about the situation and swallowing his emotions. He notes that there are only six hours until dawn, and after that, the person will have to learn to love without him. The line "la brisa aquí no huele igual" refers to the singer's perception that the air smells different in his current situation, and there's no one there for him to hold.
The title of the song, "Rozando La Eternidad," translates to "brushing eternity," hinting at the singer's feeling that his departure is a significant moment that will have a lasting impact. As the song ends, the importance of his journey becomes more apparent as he notes that he is "rozando la eternidad en vuelos a ras del mar," or "brushing eternity on flights close to the sea." The final line, "abejas cerca de aquí están tirando a matar," translates to "bees close by are firing to kill," indicating the danger and uncertainty of the singer's journey.
