Their style was based on an acoustic and simple pop-rock with a touch of rockabilly in great contrast with the more radical rock played in the area at the time. After being hired by 'Grabaciones Accidentales, S.A.' they contributed with two songs (Mi Amor and Bésame Mucho) to the new bands compilation La única alternativa (The Only Alternative).
In 1985 they recorded their first album, Por Tierras Escocesas (Around Scottish Lands), and Canciones (Songs) a year later, both produced by Paco Trinidad. The songs were immediately successful and gave them big popularity. After even more successful El Grito del Tiempo (The Cry of Time, 1984) and Grabaciones Olvidadas (Forgotten Recordings, a compilation of B-Sides, 1989) they became a duo and recorded the double album Autobiografía (Autobiography), with collaborations by Black and Sam Brown among others. They later also had several hits such as "Esos Ojos Negros" ("Those Black Eyes"). They finally came to a close as a band with their final cd, "Crepúsculo y Crudités" (Sunset and Crudités [1]) which was more orchestrated and softer than their older music.
Their most known hit is "En Algún Lugar" ("In Some Place"). The song was initially featured in Canciones, but it was the remix included in El Grito del Tiempo that became widely popular.
Te Quiero
Duncan Dhu Lyrics

En las puertas del amor
Ponte tu vestido blanco
Deja abierto el corazón
Pequeño diablo
Mi principio y mi final
Mi sol nocturno
Te quiero
Te quiero
Te quiero
Y no quiero nada más
Esta lluvia de verano
Que es tormenta si te vas
Acaricia mis recuerdos
Como flechas de placer
Y te quiero
Nanana
Te quiero
Nananana
Te quiero
Y no quiero nada más
Yo te quiero
Nananana
Te quiero
Nanana
Te quiero
Y no quiero nada más
The lyrics of Duncan Dhu's song "Te Quiero" are about the singer's unconditional love for their partner. They promise to always be waiting for them at the doors of love, urging them to open their heart and wear a white dress as a symbol of purity and commitment. The person they are singing to is described as their "little devil," the beginning and end of their journey, their nocturnal sun and personal planet. The singer declares their undying love for this person, saying they want nothing more than to be with them.
The second verse describes the emotional turmoil that occurs when the person the singer loves is not with them. The rain of summer becomes a storm, and the only comfort they have is the memory of the person they love. Despite the hardships, the singer reaffirms their love, repeating the words "te quiero" multiple times and stating that they don't want anything else.
Overall, the song is a declaration of deep love, devotion, and longing. The metaphors used create a vivid image of the intensity of the emotions being expressed.

Muy pocos conocen esta musica...
@gabbomtzmgn9901
así es. Una gran banda, tristemente conocida por una sola canción que, para mi, no está ni cerca de ser la mejor de a banda.
