I get quite a few in rec as a 6’11 SF with gold fast twitch and rise up only. If you are a big obviously dropstepper and backdown will also be very useful but I personally only get this bronze so I just don’t care to waste points on them. I’m going to make a big soon so those will definitely be hof when I do.

My 6’9 with 75 close shot ,silver fast twitch and 55 standing dunk i get standing dunks most of the time after a pump fake .it is possible for fast twitch to trigger dunks without the rise up badge activating whereas rise up always triggers with fast twitch i dare say rise up requires fast twitch so in my opinion fast twitch is the main badge for anything around the basket including standing dunks

there are so many different things at play during post moves that testing post lockdown would be pointless, there are just to many variables that matter, weight, strength, post control, bad or good positioning, stam, or interior d, and timing all play key roles in the outcome as well as post lockdown. i feel post lockdown is not even effective as weight or interior d from my experience.

If you try to back down and drop step in the Rec, you'll get swarmed and likely have the ball stolen. Your team will hate you. Instead, try getting good inside position and then receive a pass or rebound and go up fast before the defense can react. If you decide the defense has good coverage, don't mess around with pump fakes. Just kick it back out and clear the paint.

I feel a difference in a 7’2 84 driving 90 standing compared to a 7’0 92 driving 80 standing. 7’0 triggers more which I find interesting. Maybe it’s just me 🤨

what you are feeling actually makes sense. Based on my test, 6'10" players have more chances of doing standing dunks than 7'3". because there are more factors that determine the outcome almost as much as standing dunk, fast twitch and rise up. your other build has higher slithery finisher and might have higher fearless finisher which i believe does effect standing dunk outcomes from my experience.

If you just flick your right stick up it will mostly give you a standing dunk and sometimes a contact make sure to be in the post when you do it though

A lot of people think the can just do it but it takes muscle memory. People go and make "demi god builds" and don't know how to dribble or do the dunk meter for example so your play style has to have it in the bag by practicing it.

i believe there is a formula to this and rise up and fast twitch most def play a role, but i have 8 centers 4 with 90 standing dunk 3 with 99 standing dunk. out of the 99 standing dunkers one of them has gold slithery the others bronze, one of my 90 standing dunkers has gold slithery and he gets more standing contacts than my two 99 standing dunkers with bronze slithery. call me crazy but i as well feel fearless finisher is part of this equation, i just made a build with 93 close shot, 93 driving dunk, 99 standing dunk the last attribute i upgraded on this player was close shot, as i upgraded this players close shot and raised his level of fearless finisher it was clear as can be to me this was helping my standing contacts trigger more often, once i got his fearless to hof he started doing the super rare standing contact animations that are insane. my only two standing dunkers that get these ultra rare animations both have gold slithery and hof fearless finisher. ive played around a 1000 games of pro am, and with all these centers i can tell u, u will not get certain animations without high slithery along side hof fearless i have hundreds if not over a 1000 standing contacts under my belt. while u do your next test u should play with slithery and fearless finisher levels and see how this changes the percentages. great video tutes thanks g.

@Banned Kash they are 7'0 228 and 7'1 224 are my two gold slithery builds, they go hard and the 7'1 has 90 while the 7ft has 99 standing dunk. i have a 7'1 275 99 standing dunk build with bronze slithery, great build but he don't dunk like the smaller guys, i get frustrated with that build from time to time.

Any tips for not getting double teamed EVERY single possession, EVERY single game as a centre? I’m not even dropping anything crazy

I started adding enough pass accuracy to get bail out. It activates when you pass out of double teams.

@KD Burner I was more so talking about the rec. For my career bail out still works for double teams but I run pro touch on hall of Fame and if I want to score I just hook shot, post spin or drop step to the opposite side of where the double team approaches from.

The jump from silver to HOF pro touch on my big wasn’t enough for me, but the jump from silver post hooks to HOF was unbelievable, i ran both HOF and could make post hooks from anywhere.. But the thing is I noticed I wasn’t greening even with HOF pro touch, it was just going in. It was like the post hook badge was all that mattered

Try put masher in the mix for those close shots.. Felt like it helped on silver but I'm only 6'7 so it's very sketchy inside for my build. It does say improves finishing around the rim especially over smaller players n is close shot focused.

Rise up is a waste of badge pt trust me as a guy who made a build with 93 standing dunk. If you want more standing dunks you need to get better position max out your fast twitch badges and have dunk packages that actually has standing dunks in them

@trent dubs dats whasup but I still got pretty good inside too now.. 93 standing, of course it gets to 99 after my bar goes halfway cause I got boxout takeover equip, 70 close shot, and it goes to 80, 70 speed, 80 vertical, 70 driving dunk. I mean it's not bad all. Trust me I can stop all inside builds I'm just saying. U definitely gotta play really smart when u up against my player and my knowledge
