In 1998, shortly after the release of Stratosphere, the band released a 7" titled 'Apex, Trance-Like' on SLR, a small label based out of Miami, Florida at the time. The 7" featured 2 unreleased tracks, 'Four Hours' and 'Light Years'. Shortly after the release of the Duster 7", SLR moved to another city and changed their label name to Skylab Operations.
In addition to the Up Records releases above, Up also released the 'Transmission, Flux" 7" and the '1975' EP.
The band also made a release 'Hier Kommt Der Schwartze Mond', for Marc Bianchi (of Her Space Holiday)'s record label, under the moniker 'Valium Aggelein'. This long out of print record is to receive an electronic re-release, through free download from 'The Static Cult Label', in 2008.
According to the Up Records website: "Duster are currently working together on new songs and planning to record soon, and their line-up has recently expanded to include friends Krag and Ross, who play guitar and bass."
Jason and Dove work together in a band called 'Helvetia', Clay is working on a project called 'Eiafuawn' (Everything Is All Fucked Up And What Not), and has released a CD on 'The Static Cult Label', titled 'Birds in the Ground'. Sweden's 'Pillowscars' label is to release a 12" version in 2008.
according to http://thestaticcult.com/duster/update.html, there is apparently a release called 'On The Dodge', indicated by this link to an mp3 excerpt:
"Meow Meow excerpt (1.05MB mp3)
From 'On the Dodge', I don't remember the real title. Keyboard, drums, guitars. Recorded on cassette four track inside the van we were living in."
On April 13, 2018, Duster posted via their Instagram page that they are “recording a little bit”. Later it was announced that the band's discography would be reissued as the boxset Capsule Losing Contact through The Numero Group, which was released in March 22, 2019. On July 4th, 2019, the band released their first standalone single in almost 20 years "Interstellar Tunnel".

The Phantom Facing Me
Duster Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
This is real life
And it′s falling apart
Like they fall away
I think I'm slipping now
Walking in the darkness
With cloak outstretched
The phantom facing me
But it won′t be there to ruin things
Just disappear
In the song "The Phantom Facing Me" by Duster, the lyrics convey a sense of impending dread and uncertainty. The opening lines, "The terror of the time, this is real life," immediately establish a feeling of fear or unease. It suggests that the situation being described is not just a figment of one's imagination, but a tangible and genuine experience.
The lyrics further depict a world that is falling apart, symbolized by the line "And it's falling apart, like they fall away." This could reference the disintegration of relationships, society, or even the singer's own state of mind. The sense of decay and dissolution is intensified by the repetition of the line "Just disappear," emphasizing an escape or desire to evade these challenges.
The central theme of the song seems to be a struggle with inner darkness and external forces. Walking in darkness and facing a phantom, the singer grapples with their own fears and anxieties. However, there is a glimmer of hope in the notion that the phantom won't be there to ruin things, indicating that there may be a chance for resolution or redemption.
Interestingly, this song leaves much open to interpretation, allowing listeners to apply their own experiences and emotions to the lyrics. The haunting and atmospheric nature of the music matches the introspective and introspective tone of the lyrics, creating a captivating and thought-provoking piece.

Yes, it is absolutely beautiful. You should check out (line of best fit) by Death Cab for Cutie, although death cab is not a slowcore band. Many of their songs fit the genre perfectly. Cheers!
