Dutton Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

We've seen the glory
The glory of the one and only
Who came to us and made his dwelling
The word became flesh
The word became flesh
God's self expression
Born into his own creation
Heaven's plan for our redemption
The word became flesh
The word became flesh
We're meant to go
We're meant to go
Lord, we know
We're meant to go
Share what we've heard and seen
With the world in need of You
Our God and King
We're meant to go
Share what we've heard and seen
With the world in need of You, Lord
You, Lord
We've heard the story
The story of the coming glory
When each of us will be rewarded
For what we have done
For what we have done
We're meant to go
Share what we've heard and seen
With the world in need of You
Our God and King
We're meant to go
Share what we've heard and seen
With the world in need of You, Lord
You Lord
We'll be a witness to the light of heaven
We'll be a witness to the light of man
We'll be a witness to the light of heaven
We'll be a witness to the end
To the end
We're meant to go
Share what we've heard and seen
With the world in need of You
Our God and King
We're meant to go
Share what we've heard and seen
With the world in need of You, Lord
You, Lord
Share what we've heard and seen
With the world in need of You
Our God and King
We're meant to go
Share what we've heard and seen
With the world in need of You, Lord
You, Lord

You, Lord
You, Lord

Overall Meaning

The song "Share" by Dutton talks about the revelation of God through the coming of Jesus Christ as the Word who became flesh. The entire song emphasizes the need for believers to share the good news of the gospel with the world. The first verse confirms the belief in God's incarnate nature - referring to Jesus Christ as the glory of the "one and only" - who came and made his dwelling among humankind. The scripture (John 1:14) is alluded to in the affirmation that "the word became flesh." Hence, Jesus Christ, the Word, came to reveal the full expression of God, which he did to his creation.

The second verse speaks about the responsibility of believers to share the message of the good news with the world. They must extend the invitation which God's plan of redemption brings to all. The message is for believers to go and share with others what they have seen and heard. The song emphasizes the need to bring the light of heaven to the world and to be a witness to God's love for humanity, which is the ultimate reward.

In conclusion, "Share" is a song of encouragement and motivation to believers worldwide to spread the gospel message. The song emphasizes the importance of the believer's responsibility to extend the invitation of God's grace that redeems and reconciles humanity.

@gmctech they acknowledge the land is yours when their lawyers file a 10M suit against you and your liability insurance.

For the flagrant trespasser, ownership is only in their convenience.

I get people walking across my property occasionally, they're not doing anything dangerous and might just be enjoying an autumn tree. I ignore that. I even ignore fishing with little kids.

If on the other hand they have roaming animals (dogs) getting into stuff, are hunting or have damaged fencing...or are looking at a bear they have inadvertently cornered...I'll have a word with them.

Consider it the slip and fall gambit of the open countryside.

Hi #ParamountNetwork.

I am a fan from Europe (from Slovakia). I like this serial theme on Western. And I like the character of John Dutton. Kevin Costner is absolutely great here. When I saw the first preview of this series, I already knew it would be a great series. So far, I've seen all the series.

This scene is my favourite. It's not that it's only John Dutton's land. But tourists crossed the fence. And that is unacceptable. In addition, disturbing the bear at lunch is also wrong and irresponsible. one should be careful. For man never knows, and is not sure that a bear will do no wrong. Whenever a bear can change its behaviour without warning.

I'm glad the screenwriters wrote this scene. John will do it right. Although tourists may not like it. But it is about the safety of the bear, nature and then the safety of tourists. So tourists are angry completely useless. Because John saved them from an unpredictable attack.

Montana is the most beautiful place to be filmed in nature. Some parts remind me of parts in Europe. For example, Austria, Switzerland. Then a small piece from my country Slovakia (the High Tatras and Low Tatras). Not everything is there. After all, this is your America. She has her rough beauty. But it's worth it.

As far as I know, there are cowboys in America in Arizona and Texas. America was also home to the Indians. So the cowboys were also on the northern border with Canada. And then later in Alaska. Because there was a gold rush. And sure, was the job is making fish and looking for oil. And I can't forget the position of the railway trains. If I'm wrong, please correct me.

PS: I could imagine this serial as an endless serial.

Greetings from Slovakia.

Lived in eastern Canada for 8 years, and this is frighteningly accurate. Chinese tourists see a potentially dangerous animal, and for some reason think it's a perfect opportunity to tell their kids to walk right up to it for a photo. Moose and bears can take a person's head off, and they tell their kids "Go on up to it and say hi!"

I never understood why people would say Kevin Costner isn’t a good actor. This whole series is him at his absolute best.
