Bittersweet
Dyro & Conro feat. Envy Monroe Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Like sugar
Shooting your way through my veins
You baffled me but I say
You're lining them out in the rain
No shelter
You feel like platinum
And even after dark
We only just begun
I'd die tonight
If I can feel your heart beats
Sweet misery
Like dynamite
Even though it might kill me
It's bittersweet
Even though it might kill me
It's bittersweet
Whoa Bittersweet
Whoa Bittersweet
Whoa Bittersweet
Whoa Bittersweet
Like shivers
You send a rush down my spine
suddenly I feel fine
That's how I know I'm alive
Inside
You feel like platinum
A diamond in the sun
And even after dark
We only just begun
I'd die tonight
If I can feel your heart beats
Sweet misery
Like dynamite
Even though it might kill me
It's bittersweet
Whoa Bittersweet
Whoa Bittersweet
Whoa Bittersweet
Whoa Bittersweet
I'd die tonight
If I can feel your heart beats
Sweet misery
Like dynamite
Even though it might kill me
It's bittersweet
Whoa Bittersweet
Whoa Bittersweet
Whoa Bittersweet
Whoa It's bittersweet
Whoa Whoa Whoa Whoa Whoa Whoa Whoa Whoa
Bittersweet
The lyrics of Dyro & Conro feat. Envy Monroe's song Bittersweet depict a relationship that is both exhilarating and dangerous. The comparison to sugar and diamonds highlights the addictiveness and preciousness of the person in question. The singer is aware of the risks involved but cannot resist the pull of the allure. The line "even though it might kill me, it's bittersweet" encapsulates the conflicting emotions at play: the pleasure and pain of being with someone addictive and unpredictable.
The second verse continues the theme of addiction and the feeling of being alive because of it. The use of the metaphor "shivers" emphasizes the physical and emotional response the singer has to the person in question. The repetition of the chorus reinforces the theme and the conflict: the singer knows the danger, but cannot resist the pull.
Overall, Bittersweet is a song about the thrill of being with someone who is both irresistible and dangerous. It captures the emotional rollercoaster of such a relationship, where pleasure and pain are inextricably intertwined.

Incredible! Dyro is so talented, he produces so many genres so well!! His trap (Foxtrot), electro (Pure Noise) and progressive (Bittersweet) are all so good! And so unique, no artists sounds quite like Dyro ;)
