E-GENS is a Russian band formed in 2009 consisting of Eugene Titkov (songwriter and lead singer) and Eugene Komarov (composer, arranger and sound engineer). They were involved in former bands OWLSTYLE and AT-home in the late 80's and early 90's. Now they have transformed themselves into e-gens, an electronic music band that incorporates elements of the past, present and future.
E-GENS music is a synthesis of indie rock, new age, and synthpop. They focus on a unique style of singing in each song with non-standard dance rhythms, deep lyrics, written in simple words with mysterious sounds and a rich melodic texture.
They started in 1987 as AT-home. First appeared on the stage in 1991 with Bio band. The first 20 songs were recorded by the end of 1992. After 14 years of silence they had recorded the new album “Fine! Shine!” in 2007-2009. In digital format it has appeared in the Internet at the end of 2009. Its sales have started in 2010. So E-GENS have begun.
And there comes more music… In 2010, the band stepped out of its studio and started to perform on various stages. In autumn of 2010 E-GENS played at the main scene of INTERRA international innovation's forum.
In January of 2011 A Different Drum label released the album “Fine! Shine! VIP edition”. E-GENS took part in numerous musical compilations: An Inner Holiday (2010) и (2011), Synthematika Two (2010) и Three (2011), Synth Radio Russians Vol.2 (2011), Music for the Rising Sun: Part V (2011), DE/VISION - POPGEFAHR - THE MIX (German Edition, 2011), etc.

E-GENS live shows make people dance and sing. Even those people listening to their music for the first time fall in love with E-GENS music at once.
There are so many people in the world who like to find harmonious and melodious stuff, who want to get more inspiration of pure romantic lyrics and music. E-GENS are here to do this for them. E-GENS admire creativity and believe that most people are creative. But contemporary life makes everybody rigid, expressionless and pragmatic. Many people simply hesitate to share their feelings with others. E-GENS write their songs to help people open themselves.
