Over the course of his career, e-dubble released four albums; Straight Outta St. Mary's (2006), Hip-Hop is Good (2009), Reset EP (2012) and Two Tone Rebel (2016).
Early life
Wallace grew up outside of Philadelphia, the youngest child of a principal and a schoolteacher. In the 1990s, Wallace and his friends fell under the spell of hip-hop cast by Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre; his music would later be known for its common celebrations of this love of hip-hop. He played center on the Wissahickon High basketball team, but dreamed of being a rapper. In an interview with the Baltimore magazine, Wallace cited Eminem's breakout success in the late 90's as a major inspiration to him, saying "Eminem showed that a white rapper could have a career. It was about skills, whether or not you could do it."
Background
After graduating from St. Mary’s College of Maryland with a degree in political science, e-dubble moved to Baltimore to live with his friends and collaborators. Together they formed the hip-hop band Young English, and played their first show in July 2008. The group went on to purchase a renovated warehouse, dubbed “The Hampden Mansion,” where e-dubble would later go on to write, record, and produce his debut album Hip-Hop is Good. He went on to produce his Freestyle Friday series, a weekly series of free songs.
Career
In 2009, e-dubble released his debut album, "Hip Hop is Good". The next year, in August 2010, e-dubble created his YouTube channel. He quickly began releasing freestyles on every Friday creating the series "Freestyle Fridays", in which he sampled other songs (such as Tighten Up and MMMBop) and rapped over the instrumentals. He also occasionally collaborated with his band, Young English, to make the tracks. The series ran throughout 2010 and a final track was released in 2012. The series was noted for its effective use of samples, lyrics and e-dubble's spoken word outros, in which he communicated with fans. He followed this up in 2012 with his next album, "Reset EP". He released his final album in 2016 with "Two Tone Rebel". His most popular songs include "Be a King", "Let Me Oh" and "What it Do".
Death
On 21 January 2017, 23 days before his death, e-dubble posted a photo on his Instagram of a swollen hand, with the caption "I don't recommend throwing up half of your body's blood. Or having your hand swell up like Martin Short in 'Pure Luck' or needing 10 blood transfusions. But I'm gonna be aight. Thanks for the love". One of his business partners, Danny, later tweeted on 27 January: "Keep our friend e-dubble in your thoughts! He is at the Hahnemann Hospital fighting a serious infection", suggesting the infection was not getting better. As e-dubble became unusually inactive on the internet, rumors began to circulate that he had died, and were eventually confirmed on Twitter by many of his close associates as well as eventually the Black Paisley Records website. E-Dubble passed away on February 13, 2017.

talkin to some pretty ladies said their blouses from the forest
i said great--- I don't make clothes, but I could probably make those
unravel simple stitches when I cut my fucking BEAT LOW
no tops, no ceilings, outside, old buildings
lookin' like an indie picture that they made for the kids
but this kid- ain't having it cuz' roofs have advantages
I really ain't a fan of all this rain in my drink
and grab a fresh john- on to the next one
my cup runneth over I am feeling upper eschelon
mistakes have been made and my attitude is shitty
but that's not reason enough to have this party turn pity
so we ohhing til' the sunrise, loose ends untied
hands stay dumb high, sippin' on that mumbai
gin and tonics grease the wheels, lemon, lime the rhines are peeled
we're monsters in the city so let's run this town like Cloverfield
Raise the roof, love the chase
let it burn with every taste
sippin' hard until it's easy
and you're feening for the bass
light's on cut em' off
we don't need them shits at all
we are blind to all their facts
but we are happy where we are like
happy where we are
happy where we are
happy where we are
we are blunt
blunt
blunt
happy where we are
robots can't drink but I know that I can
even on a double dose of zicam
ditch that riff raff,
antibodies, opiates and arms traded
like my veins were Taipan
this the part of the night where I black out
2 sheets to the wind need a snack now
no sheetz no wawa- only rofo in this town
stop playing- Jerry Stackhouse
i got my vices, they got their ices
and they booby trapped-- all the nice shit
so take a knee man-- and drink a smirnoff
it's not my cup of tea-- so I veer off
I'm on my way now, vision quest style
headphones and my battery has full power
fuck a cab cuz' the music drives me---
sober ride time cuz' my mind got high beamed
the gatorade soothes me, but I'm choosy
original colors cuz' the others never wooed me
no problem, I'm on that fruit punch
can't bully me, I never lose lunch
in other words I rarely vomit
the frequency is that of the Haley Comet
unless I'm on the mic than it's fairly common
ipecac to the stomach like I'm purging Ramen
Raise the roof, love the chase
let it burn with every taste
sippin' hard until it's easy
and you're feening for the bass
light's on
cut em' off
we don't need them shits at all
we are blind to all their facts
but we are happy where we are like
happy where we are
happy where we are
happy where we are
we are blunt
blunt
blunt
(happy where we are)
then the sun comes back, and my lungs are full of air again
recall the night's events, hope I wasn't acting arrogant
but I probably was I was sippin' on the seraphin
purchased by some bougeoise broads who thought I was a terrapin
goddamn I'm a turtle with a hard shell
stubborn as a used car dealer with his hard sell
but I ain't buying it, I can still retire this
put the bottle down, pick it up and get high again
Raise the roof, love the chase
let it burn with every taste
sippin' hard until it's easy
and you're feening for the bass
light's on
cut em' off
we don't need them shits at all
we are blind to all their facts
but we are happy where we are like
happy where we are
happy where we are
happy where we are

The song "Where We Are" by E-dubble narrates the story of a night out at the bar with friends who are drinking gin and tonic, feeling the bass, and being carefree. The lyrics open with the singer at the bar in his jeans and shirt he bought from Target, talking to some pretty ladies who said their blouses were from the forest. Although he cannot make clothes, he can certainly create beats and cut his beats low. The song uses metaphors of rooftops, old buildings, and indie pictures that they made for kids to create a happy and carefree mood. The song seems to be a celebration of being alive and enjoying every moment of it. The singer voice’s concerns about the amount of rain in his drink and dumps it out for a fresh one.
As the song progresses, the music improvises to the point that the lyrics seem to be a stream of consciousness. The singer acknowledges that he has made some mistakes and has a shitty attitude, but it is not enough to turn the party into bitterness. The song encourages everyone to celebrate life and enjoy every little moment without worrying about anything. The lyrics emphasize the importance of being happy where you are without being worried about the future or the past.
In conclusion, "Where We Are" is an ode to being alive and enjoying every moment of it. It is a song that encourages listeners to let go of their worries and enjoy the present. The song has an uplifting and happy mood that keeps the listeners engaged and wanting more.
